These are super-rare today, as no one has any need for it. Go directly to Outlands and you get much, much better items. Still, because it is so rare, it means it's expensive. So I recommend farming it. The reason I needed it was because I am a pre-tbc player on Auchindoun EU <Reflection>.

I've payed 45 for it some Month ago...
I was Level 58 and no I'm 60 since 22 days ingame played time :D

I have never ran DM and the book is really cheap on my server (bout 7-10 gold). Is there any key needed to run this stealth or anything like that or can ya just walk in. Also having never ran it could anyone give me directions from the entrance to where I have to turn this in? I will buy the book so dnt need to worry bout running for that.((60NE Druid))

This quest can be done at 54 with the assistance from a person with the cresent key. I just baught the book on Spinebreaker and did it with a friend. You really dont need more then a Lesser Invisibility potion (But you can use a Invisibility potion if you would like to be safer). Since its such a short distance from the start of the instance past the first mob you only need one potion. (Since this is the Druid book just go ahead and stealth in catform :D)

The thing you need to look out for is the Dog Patrol, they spot you very easy because of there high stealth detection, I had to die once to learn to watch closer.

When you go down the ramp to the left at the very beginning of the instance, try not to get to close to the mob at the bottom, jump off the side to get a little distance and then hug the corner of the next ramp down to the library door. Once you get into the library door you're in the clear. Enjoy you new Trinket when you finish that long run down the hall!

On my map it shows that the library is in the North DM.. when i get to where it is theres no entrance and the dogs spot me brfore i have a chance to leave.. this is so annoying as i died 3 times then had to ressurect.. a waste of a repair bill if you ask me! Will someone tell me EXACTLY where to go? And is it in the actual instance?

You can find this quest item for 40g on Frostmane, overpriced I know, I talked to a guy today who was sellin this stuff in trade channel, and he put me on ignore list because I offer him 20g for it. Life is cruel...

It's 100g bid on Nathrezim currently. I looked up the Garona book which is the one for rogues and it was on 75g bid and 100g buyout. A bit insane if you ask me.

Forget all that has been written here earlier! The library is in north, NOT WEST. Died a few times and figured out that it couldn't be here.

Go directly down when u enter DM north. On ur right is a pack of dogs, and middle is some ogres. The door is to the left. Once there its done. Just walk through the corridor and enter! Voila! The Elven lengend quest is also in there.

is the book soloable to get? i mean, are there trash mobs that drop it that a lvl 60 could grind for it? might be worthwhile if possible, the books go for a goodly amount...

Haven't seen this book for at least four weeks on the AH, and I check every day. Just saw it today for 150g min, 200g buyout. I'm hoping it comes down drastically from that price because I don't feel like farming DM for it.

The trinket isn't that good. I paid 10g for my book, not sure it'd be worth any more than that.

The girl you turn the book in is inside the Library, right after the prince. Can't miss her.

I don't see why anybody would pay 10g for this unless he/she is a resto druid...
There are so many great trinkets, +44 healing spells & effects and +10 fire resist aint exactly great stats.

up to around level 64-65 or so (im a 70 furry druid btw) the +44 healing on this is pretty good, most of the other trinkets u can get do around +20 or 30, and some make u use the trinket to increase healing or spell damage, with a several minute cooldown, but still, in the outlands instances, there r better ones, but if u get this at 54 or so, keep it even if ur not a resto druid, cause chances r, u won't have anything with attack power increase or spell damage increase unless u do BRD really far in, or DM/Scholo/Strat, and now, no one does those, so yeah, keep this no matter what ur spec is (another note: i have only seen this thing twice in the AH, the first time i bought it for 3g about a month after BC came out, and i saw it recently for 10g), overall, not a bad trinket, keep it even if u r not resto, cause i know feral druids suck at healing, so this trinket can't do anything but help, have fun. =]

This is still a pretty good trinket even with TBC.
I would deffinately suggest getting it since the book seems to be cheap, and since you could probably get it from a stealth run. :x

You can farm books of Guard Mul'Dar easily by killing him then resetting the instance. There is only 1 other mob you need to kill before him so it essentailly is well under 5 minutes for a drop.

to correct an earlier post, the large seaforuim charge won't work, you have to use the powerful seaforium charge. the rest was right though take two, go straight then left and you're homefree.

I bought the book for under 20g on Kargath. 20g seems to be the going rate there.

If you're a druid, the quest is quite easy. You need to enter through the Dire Maul North entrance. You will need a way to open the 2 sets of doors: the Crescent Key, a rogue with 295 lockpicking, Large Seaforium Charge x2, or Arcanite Skeleton Key x2.

Unlock the doors to the instance entrance with one of the means mentioned above. Stealth straight ahead down into the pit. Avoid the dogs completely. They will see through stealth. Turn left and go to the door there. Open the door (this is the second locked door) and you're free and clear. No more need for stealth. The passage takes you to the library. Find the person you need to talk to to complete the quest, then you're done. Just don't talk to the Prince.

wrong that sounds more like priest trinket.. it's +10 fire resist and +44 to healing spells.
