You only get one charge and then the quest is useless? we just whiped and then everyone leaved. where do i get a new one ?

Yes go to Grayson Shadowbreaker in the Cathedral in Stormwind. Abandon the quest and get it again you get a new Scryer. Thanks for the info. I came so close pnly to lose it at the end.

i got the quest and then got the spryer...but i think i destroyed it. i already accepted the next quest for the shaman helm, any suggestions?
i really want that helm...

I didn't get it after abandaning it and accepting it again.

I got the quest but not the Divination Scryer?

We just wiped on my first try to get the charger in Scholo. I was going back to the trainer in SW to abandon and re-get the quest. When I select abandon, it warns me that this will destroy my Blessed Arcanite Barding. Since I have spent an incredible amount of time and gold getting that blessed barding, I don't want to do it over again. Any insite would be helpful.

This quest began with Lord Grayson Shadowbreaker at the Cathedral of Light in Stormwind. If you lose or use your divination scryer just go back to him and request another scryer. DO NOT abandon the quest.

I went to Lord Grayson in the Cathedral and all, however I did NOT get the choice of a new scryer. I am a palading looking for charger and I really want that mount. How can I get a new scryer if theres no choice or do u have to log out/in to get it.

If you throw away one of your totems can you get them back by doing the quest again? can we even do the quest again? man im a lv28 right now and i only got 1 totem... i think i threw the others away to make room cuz im such a big noob! :( can someone help me on this one?

I did the same thing, but i took the blessed arcanite binding to the bank deposited it there. Then went back and abandoned the quest and clicked yes to destroy the blessed arcanite binding.

Then wen back to bank, picked up , to my relilef the blesssed Arcanite binding and went to the Pally trainer to get the quest along with a New scryer.

Remember, he gives you the barding and scryer in a satchel. "Lord Grayson's Satchel", I believe. You need to get the items out of there.

So, Look for the stachel in your inventory, not the scryer.

The point is to get the pally epic land mount. After completing a chain to get a saddle and horse feed you can summon a boss encounter in Rattlegore's room (Scholomance) to finally get your mount.

When our group wiped after using the scryer, we could not get back into the room without resetting the instance (the door to the room slams shut until you are done and rezing right inside the instance can't get you back in).

After fighting some of the mobs again, I realized that the Divination Scryer was gone. Luckily in our group, we had a Mage to port me back to Stormwind to get it back from the quest giver.

I feverishly thotbott'd the scryer and found conflicting info about whether or not to abandon the quest. The concern was losing the Blessed Arcanite Barding.

The questgiver does not give out another scyer by itself, so the only choice was to abandon the quest. I followed one of the thotbott suggestion to put the Blessed Arcanite Barding in the bank prior to abandoning. I did that, abandoned the quest and the Barding was gone from the bank!

I went back to the questgiver, and found the exclamation point above his head, found the same quest I was on, accepted it and got the whole satchel back, in it was the Blessed Arcanite Barding and Divination Scryer. We were able to finish the quest @ the 2nd time, thanks to a soulstone from a Warlock in the party.
