This is the third best Feral weapon out there. Not only do you get the right out attack boots from the equip but you get a little extra from the Str and then you also cant hate Stam.

Suprisingly this could also be a good Warrior hammer because of the armor on it but it is impractical.

Hammer of Beastial Fury is an excellent weapon to use for tanking, especially if you find your bear attack power lacking. Feral druids can use this as a starting tanking weapon, together with Tome of Knowledge(drops off Archivist Galvord in Live Stratholme), for faster aggro generation, then just switch back to Warden Staff in the middle of the fight for more armor mitigation.

As for PVP, Hammer of Bestial Fury is also a very good choice against melees because of the armor that comes with it. Against casters, I would say Mace of Unending Life as a better choice, unless the druid has a lot of mana to use the Hammer of Bestial Fury.

Sadly feral off hand itemization is limited to Tome of Knowledge (rare drop live side strat) and a level 25 quest item out of duskwood, Totem of Infliction. Lets hope that druids get better itemization in the expansion.

A great weapon for all feral druids especially, or an alternative weapon for a non-feral who likes to feral pvp sometimes. This really helps while in bear form with the armor bonus along with the strength and stamina. It is also good for cat form, but is definitely great for bear form tanking.

Mace drops from Ysondre in Duskwood at the portal. we killed him last thursday on second attempt. I got the mace. 8)

Unless all the druids in the raid already have this, should ALWAYS go to a druid (feral, then balance/resto). Anything else is wasting the primary bonuses.

Any druid who wants this should get it (or get to roll amongst druids) over the other classes regardless of their builds. Now, not every single druid who comes across this will want it but any druid who has a genuine want for this mace should not have it taken away by another class who can't even take full advantage of it.

The weapon dmg has nothing to say for a druid in forms, and the same goes for weapon speed.
The 90 armor gives 324 Armor in bearform
13 strength = 26 AP in cat form and 31,2 if you got heart of the wild
So totaly a druid will get 180 AP in cat form and 185 if he got heart of the wild

This mace drops from all of the 4 dragons, who can be found in Feralas, Duskwood, Hinterlands and Ashenvale

this is an excelent warrior weapon. its got armor and some strenght/stam and some good dps. this would be great for them tanking. also a mace rogue would make good use of this as well. druids can have it last, i guess that last stat would help them.

and yes, im kidding, wtf is wrong with you people talking about what class it goes to? i mean really...

Can i ask why blizzard put it with the stormrage pic, as that is a healing set actually, and i don't think this weapon fits with healing, then i would rather have this with the PvP set. but maybe that's just me?

anyone confirm ALL four bosses drop this beauty? there was some controversy in our guild whether or not only lethon drops it. anyone confirming would be greatly appriciated

I wear this with nice offhand.. +7 stamina enchant... I think its ideal 4 druid... More powerfull than stave..

Got it on our first Ysondre kill, not Emeriss...

However, I just love this mace, it's incredibly better than my previous feral weapon (bonecrusher), i gain like +100 ap in forms,without offhand... no bwl weapon can do that.

just add Tome of knowledge on top of that (or even a fire runed grimoire) and you've got an happy feral druid :)

If you look at the new armor sets on blizz's website you will see that this hammer is being held in the pictures....it'd be sweet if they somehow incorporated this into the set, or made it so no other dumbass classes would roll on it :-)

this weapon is the best dream that came true! love it... just a +15 str/agi on it and im in heaven...

gah... so near, and yet so far away.

This thing is really my only main loot priority right now. All the healing crap druids have to deal with (kind fun and difficult at times though) is taken care of with regular drops in MC and whatnot, and some Feral gear is easy to score here and there with a little dkp.

But this thing just takes you to another level entirely.

I don't have this thing, but of course I want it like every other druid ever. My big question is what offhand are people using with this thing? There aren't really any offhand items with any combination of strength / agility / stamina on them so what are you guys doing?

I dont know what kind of offhands ppl prefer for this but this is what I prefer:

Blizz if you can read this, please make this part of a set, all the offhands in-game suck, and are blues :P Would be good to have an epic offhand that's part of the Hammer of Bestial Fury set.

Why would a rogue, warrior or shammy take it clearly says +154 attack power in CAT form etc. Thus noting "druid weapon" would be pointless unless there was some really really brain dead idoit
