Caster ring. Period.

Viable for Druids, Mages, Paladins (if you don't know why +spell crit helps them, do some research), Priests, Shamans, Warlocks. I didn't leave anyone out, did I?

Anyone who wants to join in the sophmoric argument of who should/shouldn't roll on this item is generally not in a guild that is structured enough to take one of these dragons down (though such a pickup-type guild could possibly drop Ysondre). So all the kids arguing over who should get it? Moot topic.

As a Druid, my guild would definitely allow me, along with any of the classes above, to roll on the item (Alliance, but included shamans just to cover all the bases). Every one of them has a good reason to want this ring.

It's a spellcaster ring. The end.

DKP are points you get from attending raids witha guild and the points you get from killing bosses. Most items cost a certain amount of DKP to be able to get them or roll on them.

Any person that uses mana and spells should get this ring. I have a shaman and I like the crit for spells and heals. See shamans spells dont crit for 2k and wont take that much aggro and the heals heal for 2800 or less most of the time and take hardly any aggro. So i liek the crit percentage alot. Any pvp caster would want this too. Its not like your gonna take aggro of someone else in pvp lol. (unless that person is like lvl 30)

Different guilds run different types of DKP systems. DKP is not part of the game, just a type of enforcement to keep players from killing each other over items that drop.
Typically guilds give out DKP for attendance at raids and/or events that are scheduled for your guild. The spending process differs from guild to guild. Some guilds make you clear your DKP when accepting an item, so that you start your DKP over again, other guilds make you pay a certain amount of your points towards an item that drops, so on, so forth. Some guilds don't use DKP at all.

The comment about BWL capable guilds not allowing Priests/Druids to bid DKP on this ring is bsing.

Strangely enough, some of the best Pveing guilds are also vgood at pvp, and this would undoubtively serve a priest and druid very well in pvp.

Sure 'Cauturising Band' could be considered a greater pve ring, and even more useful in certain pvp situations.

When it comes down to it, a healer is less likely to bid a large amount of DKP on this, due to the common other epic rings. However, strangely enough in WoW, the Priest is the first, complety primary healer in simular genre games that has a decent DMG output. Not sure you can justify making such assumptions on their gameplay.

Offcourse it suits a mage and perhaps lock the best, but why try and convince players, probably not even on your server that it is ? These are the most annoying comments you come by on this site or alla. Arguing about or trying to convince others that an item is only for said classes. Who cares ?

Even if you appear to be smart, noone knows who you are and probably never will.

Hah, if a raidleader gives a healer this ring, he is ridicilous :). Lock/mage, and i dont see why its more lock than mage. Use some kind of dkp on it, MC or something.

Crit heals may cause more aggro but Priests can dump aggro pretty quickly (fade). Even so, in a raid you won't have just one Priest, or even one healer for that matter. If you do and the priest can keep everyone alive you got a badass healer. That being said, have a crit go off from a heal won't matter. If crit heals were a bad thing then Benediction would be a no go for guilds taking priests since it gives a +2% crit to holy spells already.

The recent posts (post 1.10 patch) from people stating that this ring would be bad for a priest, just don't have a clue what priests are capable of and should roll one just to see how well +crit is good for them, especially if they're Disc/Holy specced or some form thereof. As for priests not dealing damage in PvP. That's just stupid. Priests can take on any other class out there just fine. I'm glad to see how few people respect priests cause once their faces get melted or blown up in a PvP scenario, they'll think back. I must be very stupid.

Something else. I have had ZERO complaints when I crit my MT and Inspiration hits him, giving him 25% more armor. That too, must be a BAD thing, right?

mages and locks bene most from + damage and hit

Paladins bene most from crit as it reduces mana cost to zero on the cast making the hpm perfect every crit.

If you need more crit as a mage or lock in any fight save patchwerk you suck and there are far better rings anyway at that point. I can pull aggro on any other fight in the game for the most part and my crit is not even 9%.

Locks shouldn't even be looking for +crit because crit cant affect your DoTs, and with one shadow priest in your guild Dots are insane. Corruption/UA/drain life ticking for 500+> your 2200 shadowbolt crit. Nightfall is just icing on the cake.

Only really valuable thing to a mage who can run MC. Besides these for a non fire mage Gloves of Delusional Power] these gloves are far better for a fire mage Gloves of the Hypnotic Flame]

Too bad there are other things I'd use before that mace. Because OHs are crap atm tbh. It would be nice if a good OH for it existed...

Blizz is just revving up the +dmg for spellcasters, eventually we will be seeing damage AND good stats. Staff and mace from nefarion are good examples.

You mean the mace which Warlocks and Mages can't use?

I'm using this ring and band of forced concentration (Band of Forced Concentration on my mage, I think it is by far the best combo there is atm.
