Best Guess is they used their noggin this time and put the class names on the "coins" for AQ so people don't have to check their log all the time. Perhaps this means the "coin" turn-in quest for rep (if there is one) will be different than a specific combination of 3.

Does anyone kno what this is for and wat it is worth anymore? I just got one to drop today and cant figure out wat it is for.

They are for the tier 2.5 armor quests that can be found inside of AQ40. They are really not used these days, though you can find some people looking for them who have done AQ and gotten the other quest items needed for the Tier 2.5 gear.

HOW TO AQUIRE: TIER 2.5 HEAD

Gain Friendly reputation status with The Brood of Nozdormu.
Accept your class quest from Andorgos inside The Temple Ahn'Qiraj (AQ40). She's located in a side room just beyond The Prophet Skeram.
Kill Emperor Vek'nilash and loot the Qiraji token: Vek'nilash's Circlet.
Collect the right amount/type of Idols and Scarabs needed, either buy them from the auction house or loot from trash / Large Scarab Coffers.
Complete the quest!
