This is part of the Christmas Theme events that take place in December. The reindeer do not move any faster then your mount would normally move, but they look so damn cool! Stock up on them, they only come once a year!

Keep in mind this is consumable, so it disappears when used on your mount.

What i did was buy up the whole market of preserved hooly, then just like a week ago, I had 50 of them, sold them for a combined total of a 100-Gold. It was a good day (I only payed like 15 gold for the whole lot of it) I bet you could make a good earning if you sold during summer...

I am selling them 2 gold a piece in the Booty Bay Auction House. Well its not like if I was selling weapons to the enemy.

Some guy was trying to sell the "secret" of this the other night for 3g. I looked it up here, then asked him to come to the AH were I could see it cause i was to busy to come see it by the mailbox. He came in, dismounted, I laughed. He was yelling at me for like 5 mins then wanted to duel me. After I won the duel he /cried. It wasn't his night

as of the new patch preserved holly's do work on your flying mounts...im just waiting for the picture of the day to be of santas sleigh -_-

u have to do the quest but lvl 40 to use it, works on mounts and flying mounts

despite what others have said, it does work on flying mounts, and the reindeer in WoW do know how to fly........I tried it on my epic bird, and it does indeed fly

errrr no it works on mounts not forms so if a druid has a flying mount your gtg if you want to transform yourself inot a riendeer think again

You can have how many Preserved Holly as you like. But you can just use each ONCE.
