I upgraded pebble of Kajaro to this. Not everyone has a choker of the fire lord, so no matter how you slice it this is a kick-ass neckpiece for any caster. Sometimes you guys act like you get epics from 7-11.

well i got it for turning in the Head. and i can say one thing for sure: as a lock, the only thing, i would swap this item for, is the Chocker of the Fire lord (as i won't get to Naxx soon). so ompw, for tier 1 lock, this is the best neck u can get. and u can get it pretty easy. in my guild , this was even easier then getting ZHC from Hakkar.

I would actually say that this item is slightly better then Choker of Enlightenment simply for the reason it got more damage and more intellect. Sure the ragnaros neck is way better, but since there is quite low drop chance on that neck, I'll go with this one.

To summarize:

This is one of the four rewards for turning in the Head of Ossirian the Unscarred, the final bosss of the Ruins of Ahn'Qiraj (aka AQ20)

Like the Heads of Onyxia/Nefarian/Broodlord Lashlayer and the Heart of Hakkar, this is a One-Kill-One-Drop-One-Turnin item.

you get this among many other for returning the head of ossirian ( much like the head of onyxia, head of nefarian or the heart of hakkar ).
1 for every kill, 1 for everyone, zone yell, zone buff all the usual stuff

Prolly after choker of the firelord this is the best neck in-game for locks and mages, but can be compared to raggy's drop if u want a bit of stats more..for sure a nice item ;)

Pretty decent stats for a head turnin thingy. Maybe on par with Choker of Enlightenment (10 int, 10 spi, 9 sta, +18 dmg) - With this you gain 7 dmg and 2 int , but loose 10 spi. If you dont need any more spirit then this is a better neck. Considering that my mage hardly has enough unbuffed spi to fill up using evocation I think I'd prefer Choker of Enlightenment.
