This is the best (and hardest) of the items that give you underwater breathing. The hydrocane from Gnomer requires you lose a weapons and the deepdive helm requires you be an engineer and sacrifice the helm. Considering the ease of attainment, pots/buffs may just be best for whatever underwater thing Blizzard wants to release.

This would also be worth holding onto for a frost resist dungeon like Northrend when they do it. 19 stamina 20 frost aint bad at all.

Maybe blizzard is planning on creating underwater bosses that debuff your water breathing potion and warlock buff, so this item will be like the Onyxia Scale Cloak for BWL. As for the rediculous suggestion that this item is a superb underwater herb gathering tool, umm.., Stranglekelp so isn't even in the same ballpark as this ring. In fact if I see a person call their character "SK-gatherer" with this ring on, I'm going to laugh, then cry, then shoot myself.

The ring is mainly for Frost Resist and not for the fact that it has the underwater breathing effect, that's just a novelty.

the ring is the %^&* they also have a staff and a helmet that allow u to breath undrwater but those waste room there are two ring slots and iit also has good stats <glee>

now that naxxramas is here i'm very happy to have this ring =). this + ramaladni's is an awesome frost resistance combo.

This ring will be needed in the future I suspect... I think WoW will have an all-underwater zone sometime, and this'll be nice for that.

much harder indeed natinia, considering that this ring costs 10 elementium ore amongst other ingredients.

There are classes that cannot equip Staves such as Hydrocane. Paladin, for one. I think Rogue is another. Not to mention that Hydrocane is a low level blue, while people who could equip this definitely have far superior weapons to that.

much harder to get than hydrocane... just grind the first boss of gnomer till u get it...
wastes a slot on u or in ur bag cuz if ur fighting underwater just change weap b4 fighting and hold ur breath and when battle over re-equip hydrocane.

i guess its cool if you want frost resist and stam but w/e
