Update for 2012: The envelopes are now quest rewards, and will no longer be clogging your mailbox.

When you visit an Elder during the , he or she will send you mail with one of these envelopes attached. You'll receive one such message for each Elder who gives you a coin. The text of the letter:

I was grateful for your visit today, take this as a gift for your Lunar Festival.

or:

Thank you for visiting me, <name>. It makes me happy to know we are not forgotten.

You receive one of these for each Elder you visit during the Lunar Festival.

- It arrives in your mailbox around 6 hours after the visit with a letter attached expressing thanks.
- It will contain one of two items. Either a Elder's Moonstone or Lucky Rocket Cluster.
- There is a walk through to complete all 75 coin/letter/visits on WoWwiki.com Elder Page.

these you get 2 hours after u find the elder
so far all i get from them is lucky rocket clusters which when u launch give u +250 health for 30 mins and elder moonstone which summons a circle of light for 3 minutes.

any1 get anything else?

I have 50 of these sitting in my mailbox with 262405892048320598230958 of the damn rockets in my inventory. Blizzard needs to give us more inventory space. :(

hey i just recieved 20 lucky red envelopes. in them was 10 elrune stones and 10 lucky rockets... so 50, 50 for me, with there was more stuff to get from them

They should make them more interesting. Seeing as the lunar Festival is based on the Chinese new year.

They should throw in items such as fortune cookies and rare pets that look like chinese dragons or rats - as it is 2008 and the year of the rat :)

Either has a Lucky Rocket, which when you put in a cluster launcher gives every around +250 health. Or Elder's Moonstone, which does nothing except make a pretty spotlight so you can feel like an elder.

Got it for doing one of the Lunar Festival quests or something.

I got this in the mail and it had a Lucky Rocket in it

For every Elder you find, they send out one of these, each one contains a lucky rocket or a stone that shines light on an area...

The lucky rocket gives you a buff that give +250 health which stacks with PW:F

Use the rocket near a launcher and you will receive a +250 health buff that will last for 30 minutes!
Engineers can create the launcher with Schematic: Cluster Launcher so you're able to get the buff all year around.
