So far I've got a Gleaming Ornate Dawnstone in it and I'm working on finding a 2nd gem for this belt. The Dawnstone you get with about 7k honor at Orgrimmar/Stormwind.

This gear actually has decent stamina if you use the sockets everybody seems to be forgetting about. I made the belt yesterday and the socket bonus is +4 stamina along with the stamina the gems I am using gives me which is another +3. I mean,...7 stamina on the belt is not bad. Fair tradeoff for unlimited power with the full 3 piece set. Not to mention the belt looks cool as hell!

This is a "Nuke ure ass of till u die set"

Imba dps and crit. Use those gem slots for even more dps and crit

However,if ure looking for survivabillity ure better off with the Frozen shadoweave set and a frost spec. High stam and frostjust have tons of features to make u hard to kill.

Personally I would prefer the spellfire set since it has both arcane and fire damage which makes for a dangerous AoE combo. +the crit is allways nice also.

Introduction

Well, to start off, there are three Tailoring Specs. Spellfire, Frozen Shadoweave, and Primal Mooncloth. Each for diffrent classes/specs. They can be learned in Shatt city, southeast? of the Horde battlemasters.
Spellfire - Mostly used by Fire/Arcane mages, but also good for Destro Warlocks. The set consists of: Robes, Gloves, and a Belt.
Frozen Shadoweave - Used by Affliction Warlocks, Shadow Priests, and Frost Mages. The set consists of: Robes, Sholders, and Boots.
Primal Mooncloth - Mostly used by Holy Priests, and maybe Resto Druids? I don't know alot of this set. The set consists of: Robes, Sholders, and a Belt.

The first time you spec into one of the sets, its free. But every other time you switch, it costs 150g.

To make Spellfire Robes you'll need...

For the Primal Mana, I would suggest farming Mana Seekers and Mageslayers at Wizard's Row in Kirin'Var village in Netherstorm

For the Netherweave, I would suggest farming some other primal, I.E Primal Fire or Water, selling them, then buying the Netherweave off the AH with that gold.

For the Arcane dust, you could use the method I suggested for the Netherweave, or if your an enchanter, run lots of instances and DE gear you get, or buy cheep greens/blues off the AH and DE them into Arcane Dust.

For the Spidersilk I would suggest going to The Black Morass aka The Dark Portal in Caverns of Time and farm the spiders there. Just don't get close to Medivh

For the Netherweave, I would suggest farming some other primal, I.E Primal Fire or Water, selling them, then buying the Netherweave off the AH with that gold.

For the Arcane dust, you could use the method I suggested for the Netherweave, or if your an enchanter, run lots of instances and DE gear you get, or buy cheep greens/blues off the AH and DE them into Arcane Dust.

Actually quite a bit more than 1000 gold if you do not farm the mats (I mostly did). But so what? More than worth the cost for a set that will serve you and not be beat until you are raiding SSC and TK and getting your tier 5. If you do not have the time to farm for this set, and/or the money to be buy it with all the ways to make money these days, simply doing the ten dailies each day for instance, you do not deserve to be in a guild where this set would be most of use.

Im a balance druid on Daggerspine, and im wondering if it would be a good idea to get tailoring and make this sett?
ofc that means that i will have a mean Starfire and Moonfire - but my wraths would suck.

any thoughts about this idea?

for a moonkin, make the LW windhawk set and gem it with + damage... because the + healing as of last patch now adds damage too. Wrath and insect swarm are too integral to your dps rotation to not use them, not to mention the loss of stats. You'll do better with WIndhawk, or just PvP. I thought about it, but after the change to + healing last patch, Windhawk is better for a Moonkin.

I agree. Wrath is way too important for you mana pool as well.
Moonfire and Starfire will drain it way too fast.

i have a tiny question... does the 7% more spell dmg set bonus stack with the 25% from arcane tree for mages?

Finally got enough primals and spellcloth to make this but Can someone tell me the best gems to put in this bad boy. I was thinking cos there doesnt seem to be any spell damage gems in blue or yellow whether 8 intellect and 12 stamina were the way to go or hit rating and crit, is this correct?
