Sold by Banalash, trade goods vendor in Stonard (Swamp of Sorrows).

I think they maybe removed the trinket itself from the vendor and replaced it with this, of that im not sure though.

Ok with the new Jewelcrafting the recipe says bind on pick up. Does that mean when the jeweler makes it, it is bound to the jeweler. Cause if that's the case it's fing retarded.

It'd a JewelCrafter pattern, so you will need a JC to craft it for you. The NPC's that used to sell them now only sell the design for JC's to make them, so you can't buy one already made anymore.

actually, the trinkets are bind on pickup, so only the jewelcrafter can use them.

You could, however, get your skill up, make the item and then drop the skill if you'd be inclined to do so. No jewelcrafting skill requirement to equip it.

If you see an item, (as linked above on a thottbot link) and it says sold by Joe Shmoe, and then it has 'map' next to his name....

There is also 2 parts of the 'pattern'... Notice how the pattern says requirements of JC to make, but that the pattern is not BOE or BOP. Then look below where is talks about the crafted item, once the JC makes it, it is BOP!

SO, unless you are a Rogue JC this item is really pointless!

Unlike most engineering items however, you don't need JC skill to wear it so you could in theory drop JC after it's made if you had a preference to another profession.

If you make the iten and than drop the skill the item wont be able to be equiped.
