It's a random world drop, and it teaches how to make a very nice ring... So be prepared to spend a bit for it. I bought mine for 100g and was able to sell each ring for 5g with their mats because so few people had the design.

lol got this design from mithril lockbox :D. lol would have been sold it for like 10g but looked up wowhead and saw it is 100g lol

Actually this is not a world drop (thinking so and the whole 1st page here resulted from a mistake in wowhead recording algorithm). Recipe can only be found in boxes. You can fish floating boxes in the Feralas shore for these boxes.

I made probably about 75 of these rings in about a months time and sold each one for about 15g - 18g a piece. i had to farm alot of the mats but watching the AH helps make alot of money!

I was farming the blue dragons in Azshara when this dropped off the blue dragons. Its not listed on the loot tables, but based on the other drop rate, i'd say it is safe to agree it is a world drop.

I'm lvl 38 and my JC skill is at 290. This design has kept my gold stash growing, selling each for 15g or so. If you by the mats here and there when they're cheap, and get lucky in some prospecting, this design is a good money maker.

Couldn't make this yet as a 375 JC, wanted to make one or my little priest coming up. I've been decking him out in all the best gear and jewelry I can get as I go. Saw the design was a world drop and after seeing none on the AH I though I'd never see it. Next day the design was there for 15g. Snapped it up and made two. I saw another design today for just 4g, so I bought that too. I'm not sure if it's just more common in classic or I got a steal. Nexus says just 14g market value for the design on my realm.

So after making the two rings, I sent them to my priest, equipped one, and put the second on the AH for 25g. Sold within 12 hours. I have materials for 6 more and the designs have already paid for themselves before I flip the second design I picked up. I spent a bit on materials as well. I had ample citrine, the aquamarine cost 1-2g ea., and instead of buying stacks of thorium for 30g a stack, I bought the settings for 12g a stack. The truesilver bars were only around 60s ea.

If I sell all the rings I'll easily make my money back and then some. Good investment.
