Inferior to the Brilliant Mana Oil, IMHO. This only adds m/5 while the brilliant also adds +healing at the expense of 2 m/5.

DPS classes/specs that have a hard time with mana in long fights; hunters (who could theoretically put one of these on each weapon, that's alot of mp5 on top of viper) and shadow priests mainly, would take this over brilliant oil anyway. The mats for Brilliant oil are vastly more expensive to begin with; if you really are in dire need of that extra 25 healing, chug an Elixir of Healing Power, which are dirt cheap to make and twice as effective. Combined, the mats are STILL cheaper/easier to obtain than 2 LB shards and 3 purple lotus (unless you spend alot of time in the old world). And, come 2.1, Netherbloom will no longer be used for Super Mana pots anyway so you'll be short on uses for it =)

for hunters: depends on what uve raiding, but if ur guild cleared kara, then u should roll for moroes dagger and netherspite sword, enchant 2*30 intellect to them, and get this oil. now u got very nice weapons for long fights. for normal fight, feel free to use legacy.
(those who didnt raid, 2*stellaris will be fine)

Seriously... +30 intellect has has to be the worse weapon enchant for hunters - the only class that should use it are pallies that want the extra spell crit. Get something that makes the fight shorter by increasing your ranged attack power instead.

This is a superb item for Hunters or Enhancement Shammies, both of which can often find themselves out of mana in longer fights. Or for Retripallies, too.

Great for retribution paladins in long boss fights, use it along with Elixir of Major Mageblood (https://www.wowhead.com/tbc/item=22840) and you have a combined 31 Mp5

So I'm sitting at 329 enchanting and I just made my 29th one of these since hitting 329.

29 bottles without 1 skill point....

still green....

Is it just me, or is this oil inferior to Brilliant Mana Oil for healing purposes, despite its higher level?

I love using these when I solo. I put one on each weapon and use my Aspect of the Viper and I can use all of my shots as much as I want and have hardly NO down time. Top that off with a spirit V scroll and your set for 30 minutes at a time!
