That is WRONG. _ONLY_ enchanters can see BoP enchanting recipes drop, even if their skill is not high enough to learn the enchant yet. (Recipes that are 'random world drops' that are not BoP can be seen by everyone)

I love this. New enchants like these drop, and only Enchanters can see them. Even better that it's BOP so no one will be running around with 10 enchanting just so they can roll on it.

I haven't had the luck to actually see any of these drop. Running Mana Tombs when I get home tonight, hope to see Fortitude drop! Wish me luck..

well on my server there's only one on alliance side who can do this, droprate, I fear must be correct, and I think that's way too low. Impossible to farm for it really.

second run to me .. drop in heroic .. but another recipe like this drop in non heroic ( savagery .. in shattered halls ) - so .. you can get and this on non heroic .. good luck !

Drop rate has been improved? Bored out of our minds we went farming for it and got the recipe on the 2nd run.

Still there's an impossible low number of enchanters on our server that can do this enchant. The most likely reason is that you do this instance maybe once while levelling up and then forget about it.

Can anyone confirm this still dropping in non-heroic Crypts off the Raging Skeletons? I've been farming it extensively recently with no luck(done 40 runs so far). Perhaps it was moved to heroic only or something who knows. Either that or this is the mother of all bad luck streaks.

Me and a buddy (both enchanters) have done at least 20-25 runs, and it hasn't dropped. the drop rate might be ok, but there's hardly ever any raging skels. we average 5-6 per entire instance.. wtf blizz :(

To a hunter at lvl 70 it gives:

12 ap = 0,86 dps
0,48% dodge
0,3% crit
and some armor

Just remember that in fact the first person to see this enchant drop will be an enchanter, no matter the level, could be 1 or 375, it makes no difference as long as you possess the profession itself.

Unless you are an enchanter you will not be able to roll on the pattern or view it until all enchanters in the party have either passed, needed, or greeded the pattern. If there is only one enchanter in the party, all members will be able to see that the pattern dropped and who it went to afterwards. The data information therefore should be recordable by all party members. This makes the drop rate seem very unreasonable, however I have usually been able to get most enchanting patterns after a few runs or so, if not the first one. This is why the drop rate seems to unreasonably low.

Does anyone else find it odd that this is the only enchant, in fact, the only ITEM in the game that is titled with 'Dexterity' and the rest are 'Agility'?

As a druid, there's a really easy way to avoid the aura of the first boss. It moves from the front of the door to the front of the stairs. At both sides, there are some columns with spaces between them. When it's near the door, move to the space in the middle of the room and wait there. Once it moves to the front of the stairs, go through the door waiting a bit so the debuff goes off and you can prowl again.

As hunter I'm able to to farm these by killing 1/5 of the pack then feign and let the pet die 2 times and then easily killing the remaining three in one pull by kiting between frost traps.

As of 2.3 whoever has the loot rights to the corpse can see all items on it, even if they can't roll on them.

At mid to high gear levels this is also solo able by feral druids. A combination of your tanking gear, iLotP, pots, and dodge trinkets make it pretty easy.

Started to farm for this 3 days ago as a 0/35/26 rogue.
The dangerous areas are only 2, the bridge in front of the 1st boss and boss himsefl.
The 1st boss patrols forward and back. When you reach the bridge you want to wait for him to go back before going on the bridge, than you can just stealth through the bridge safely because you wont get detected on the end by the boss's aura, he`ll be far away. If you get out of stealth thanks to the bombs, just spring up to the stairs in front of the boss and vanish, thats the safepoint. You get pass the boss by moving on the left side and wait for him to patrol off.
One AC skeleton run took me around 30-40minutes, most of the time waiting on CDs. Lost count on the skeletons but did 15runs total sofar, lots of cloth, ~10 greens, ~3chests but still no recipe.

Edit: done 20runs total, no dexterity recipe. On 19th run Boar's speed dropped ^-^

The bridge aint nothing to worry about, simply just walk on your right, by the ledge. That way, you wont get detected by those spawning bombs.

Getting past shirrak aint a problem either. All you need to do is to wait for him to walk to the end of the room (Furthest away from you) - then just run up the stairs and position yourself to your left/right - Make a pick, just be sure that you are by the 'gap'. After ~25seconds, shirrak will move to top of the stairs, you can safely walk to the entrance of the small tunnel, and restealth.

I've been farming these skeletons for a while now, no luck whatsoever. A few greenies, nothing worth mentioning.

No recipe yet, though battlemaster recipe dropped for me :)
And 2 hours later it dropped. Took me about a week, not constant farming either.

I cannot believe how anybody could tank more than 3 mobs.
They hit like trucks...
I died after the second skeleton died, but luckily... I looted the second skeleton to see an enchant :)
Lucky, it was my first stealth run as well.

The bridge part was a bit tricky, even without stealth, all I can say is hug the walls.

Fairly impossible to solo as a feral druid anymore. Each mob you pull has 4 friends and they wear you down quick. I have 26k armor, 35% dodge, and 14k hp in bear form, and find I can only kill 1, maybe 2, before im overwhelmed. There are no packs that have only 1-3 mobs, all are linked together to make at least 5 mobs in each pack.

The boss's Inhibit Magic aura (the one brakes stealth) can make Darkmoon Card: Vengeance proc and that means instant aggro ofc. Found out the hard way.
Shadowmeld doesn't break on inhibit magic.

Farmed it as a feral druid. T4+S2 gladiator lvl gear. Used Agi+Forti elixir+agi or sta food. The 4 skelly grp doesn't need any special trick, open with hots, use badge of tenacity, keep demo roar always up, FFF your target. Teddy regen around 50% if you need to. Use Mangle+Maul mainly, Swipe with extra rage especially if you need ILotP proc.

With my gear this wasn't enough for 5 skelly grps. I've used this macro to get extra healing:

The items are Super Healing Potion and Charged Crystal Focus. This gives you up to 4500 healing and can crit up to 6750 (it's instant, you dont really spend time in caster form). When 3 skeletons are down, you can bash one, pop out, barkskin and Tranquility heal yourself.
Take out the angered skellys first, they gain +100% attack speed buff from time to time.

I just feigned death all the way through on my 70 hunter and only killed one mob on the way to the skeletons.

Why tell people they are wrong when you don't know what you are talking about.

The item will drop only if there is an enchanter in the group.

Only enchanters will be able to roll on the item, but everyone will see the results of the roll.

The item can be seen on the corpse by anyone, even non-enchanters, if it does drop.

As a level 70 hunter in kara gear, I could easily get to the mobs, but couldn't take any of them down. I only tried once, though. It took about 10 minutes to get there wearing my PvP gear for the HP. I still wore my PvP gear for the mobs. Perhaps if I had put my DPS gear back on, and waited for my feign death to cool down, I could have downed one at a time.

Been trying to solo farm this in free time over the past few weeks. Doable as a 70 hunter, but the drop rate is ridiculous. Done about 10 or so runs, average of about 7 ragings each run, and still no drop. Starting to wonder if they removed it from the game or something...

Dropped for me in Auchenai-tombs (one of the instances in Auchenai, Terokkar Forrest, lvl 66 trash). Dont know what dropped it but it was just before the first undeads in the tomb, or maybe it was one of those. Note that it's BoP and only enchanters can roll on it (so nobody is gonna ninja-loot this one and you wont find it on the AH).

6-7 runs and nothing. I could have used the healing staff and slippers last boss dropped, but so far I've come up completely empty handed on both fronts. Guess I'm just unlucky.

I was curious as to where the Raging Skeletons were in the instance, so I ran it. Sadly, the Enchant pattern did not job, but oh well. I gained some information to share with you guys.

The Raging Skeletons are in the room directly after the first boss. There is only one room that contains them and there are only about 6 of them in that room.

Tried soloing as a 70 feral druid w/ 24k ar, mark of conquest / heroism card, couldn't take 4 of them at once. Add another druid or rogue and it would be easy I'd say.

I don't think these are soloable anymore without a full group

I had over 20,000 aggro on the 1 mob and it reset somehow and ran straight for my druid friend who stealthed in to heal me

1st Attempt - Stealth through to first boss. Learn his aura knocks you out of stealth. Boss eats me.

2nd Attempt - Stealth through to bridge before first boss. Flare spawns on bridge, knocks me out of stealth, pat tries to eat me but another flare spawned and threw me off the bridge.

3rd Attempt - Manage to stealth to the first boss and hug the wall. Wait for him to pat and go through. Eureka it's the skelly room! Put on my tank gear, go bear, enrage, pull... 4 come at once.... They eat me... I was able to get two down through the use of dodgevasion (pocket watch + badge of tenacity) and a macro to take a potion and healthstone then shift back into bear. Neither skelly I killed had the enchant.

4th Attempt - 2 Flares appear on the bridge and sandwich me in. Can't go anywhere because of pat and I'm unstealthed. Fly off bridge again.

5th Attempt - Walked around boss same as before but he aggros me and eats me.

6th Attempt - Get back to the skelly room somehow. Killed the remaining two. Somehow died the same time as I killed the 2nd one. Said F-This and gave up. By the time I get back the body will be gone so no point in trying to loot. Rez, Hearth, that's a wrap!

My stats for those curious...

28k armor, 16k health, 35% dodge..... Almost full epics from karazhan and heroics...

Believe me when I say NOT SOLOABLE. If anything you'll get 1 or 2 down and somehow make it back for the other two. GG high repair bill.

Rogue can farm solo just kill 1 and use Vanish . wait 5 min for adrenalin and evasion and go agene .

Easy duo Druid + rogue or just druid + druid

Killed 1st boss each time, then did the packs in the room so we didn't have to bother with the phase thingers....

Don't attempt last boss unless you have 3 and they are all well geared.

Took ~3-4 runs I forget, for 1 to drop.

The five skeletons are possible to solo for well geared feral druids.

At least you should have two tier5 parts for instant regrow.

I soloed all groups with 25k armor, 46% dodge and 37% crit, with heroism card and depleted badge (for 20 seconds high dodge at beginning).

Try to kill one skeleton very fast and if possible a second. You shouldn´t have less then 50% health after it. Then bash one skeleton and instant regrow, try to holt demo shout up.

You dont need 30k+ armor cause these are only level 67. Agility is the way to survive this fight.

Its not easy and if you unlucky you will die, but with t4/t5 and equal equip you should handle them.

Managed to reach and complete the skeleton room solo as a survival hunter without major problems. Had 2 deaths in the skeleton room but that was more due to trying to rush than anything.

In the 1st room of the instance I killed a couple of mobs but where possible I ran past mobs and feigned leaving my pet to die and then resing it. I did this to get past the 1st boss too.

At the skeleton room I managed to clear the whole of the 1st pack in 1 go but I only had a few hps left. I basically used rapid fire, trinkets and misdirection on pet to nuke 1 mob down fast and then kited the others as best as I could using frost traps etc. I did feign on this 1st pack to allow my pet to get aggro back and allowing me to nuke but I think its actually a better idea to nuke 1 mob and then feign... you can then res pet and repeat. Sometimes when I feigned and then tried to carry on fighting I died because feign was on CD when I needed it.

Once you reduce the skeleton packs to 3 mobs you can use freeze traps. You lay 1 trap early so its off cooldown when the 1st skeleton is trapped and this means that you can have two skeletons trapped while you nuke the 3rd. You can then deal with the 2 skeletons at once using kiting.

No formula yet but now I know I can kill the mobs solo without many problems I will keep going back till I get it.

Possible to solo as a protection Warrior. Yes, right...a protection Warrior....we cannot feign death, we cannot stealth, we cannot vanish....we do not even have adrenalin rush to nuke something down quickly....BUT if played and equipped propperly we can turn immune to all physical damage up to a certain value...our block value. I wont go into detail which kind of eqipment is necessary, but its not T5...its not even T4....its just a well picked selection of greens, mostly blues and some heroic badge epics.

I wont say its easy...many things can go very wrong here...basically if you have bad luck and 2 of the mage type mobs spawn next to the elites you have to engage it is a sure travel to the graveyard. The 3 types of elites on the way are not a big deal...priests are annoying but can be bashed, defenders are ugly but have high cooldown on their shadow shock and monks are just cake. The first Boss cannot be soloed by a warrior (at least not in my tier of equipment) because of the strong bleed effect he casts, but if you are patient you can just slip past him on the right side without stealth or invisibility or what not. The skeletons themself are 100% melee, therefore a warrior with the equipment i used can just pull the entire room at once...they cannot scratch you.

I did have to engange some groups on the way twice (after dying) and kill them "one by one", mainly because of mages spawning.

However, since you can get to that room alone without stealth or someting i guess every class in the game can do it at a certain degree of equipment. Since you have to engage the skeletons themselves in groups of 4-5 i guess this is the point where some classes will not be able to go on, at least without dying one or two times every group.

Since a paladin can wear the exact same equipment i just used to do it, i guess a properly equipped and played protection paladin will have least difficulty to clear the way and the room alone.....in all epics he might even be able to kill the first Boss. I died at roughly 70% when trying without using a potion or cooldown.

Since this post might not be helpful to most enchanters looking for advise how to get to that formula here is another: Get a group and just play the Instance. If you are 70 and desperate to get the enchant but your groups suck, ask friends to come along...1-2 more 70s will do the job if they know what they are doing and the instance. If you do not have any buddies to help you, you probably should worry more over that than this enchant. :)

Solo'd the 5 skele groups with many buffs, agility pot, agility food, etc

I had around 46% dodge, and over 50% with constant procs (over 80% with trinkets)

14k health

I get the first 2 down, and when I'm at about 25% health I barkskin and do 3 healing touches (Works good if you crit)pots would be nice to pop too at this stage.

i just tried soloing the skellys and after killing one mob using evasion/trinket/blind i was at 5% hp with 10.5k hp.
i went to vanish....vanish broke.... cheat death procd...prep vanish again...vanish broke. LIKE WTF @%$#^%^ i would like to know why this BS happeneds. This is not soloable, if you did you got lucky..

soloable...
been soloing it for about a week now looking for the drop. combat/assination swords spec in all kara and pvp epics. been killing two of them on normal everytime i attack thanks to blade flurry the low drop rate is a killer though. have made a killing on farming chests too.

Soloable as a BM hunter.

I actually had to respec from raid BM to pure solo BM.

I put points in extra pet armor, extra pet health and pet dodge. I tried with my instance spec and it was just not doable w/ the 2 5 packs.

After about 4 solo runs I finally got it, just now :D

Had run numerous times with groups also, this is the first time I've seen it drop.

The boss aura is dispelled by Cloak of Shadows. So when the boss pats away, get in the left niche. When he pats back, you can stand in that niche *unstealthed* and (level 70) he won't aggro you, and you will actually be a little bit behind him. Now evasion, sprint, run by him and as soon as he hits you (1-2k melee), cloak of shadows and vanish. The aura may knock you out of stealth again, but you won't get boss aggro - just make sure you don't vanish too late or you will be too close to the 2 mobs in the hallway. Any class with an aggro dump should be able to do this.

Another trick that bypasses all this sneaking completely - a trinket pet, like the Commanders Badge or Tiny Voodoo Mask or anything you can drop to attack a boss will draw it away from you long enough for you to get through the far doorway and vanish. Drop it early, and the boss will run down the stairs to kill it, while you sprint/swiftness out of los.

kk, soloable by someone with garbage gear like me...I wrote an epic tale of how I did it, but thott ate it. DAMN YOU THOTT!

Only epics I have are cobrascale hood and gloves, the shattered sun pendants, the consortium dagger and the scryer dagger. Rest blues and two greens still.

The key is...

Kill the angry skellies first, then vanish...that way if vanish breaks, and you die, THE IMPORTANT LOOTS DON'T DISAPPEAR. Pop pots and fel blossoms if needed to give you time to loot the important bodies before you die if your stealth breaks.

YOU WILL DIE. A run back to the room takes about 6.5 minutes...your cooldowns take 5. So don't be too sad about dieing.

I used about 150 super health pots, 40 fel blossomes, a couple of flasks, and probably had 150 corpse runs. Dropped after my 142 raging skeleton.
