Considering the quite huge amount of Primals needed and the small upgrade from previous greater equivalent (https://www.wowhead.com/tbc/item=16216#00Rz) I won't bother farming that recipe in AH, especially when it's sold at a price of 500G (Terenas EU) only because it's one of few BoE patterns in game

Netherwing Ray in shadowmoon Valley dropped it.
But its random world drop, for sure, so dont hunt them a specially if you want this reciple.

I agree, I have this cloak I got from Bot that has +12 resist to all, I was thinking of putting that on, mainly to bump up my resist all for fighting Shade, he hits my holy pally with 3 types of damage, arcane, fire, and frost (frost is the worst toward the end). I added up the total gold cost of the +7, way too much.....not sure if this is an ideal enchant for arena.

I just bought out the listed wowhead price of 300 gold for this trash.

It's useless, I doubt I will ever enchant a cloak with it.

Yet, it's the first time I've seen it on the AH in months...why did Blizzard have to make such a bad recipe so rare?

Got this somewhere in Nagrand (Arathnor server) (clefthoof bull or something). Didn't know i got it with auto-loot. My Auctioneer Mod gave me prices to sell at 350 starting - 419 BO. Checked here and saw it was similar so I thought what the heck listed it and sold for 419BO in less than an hour. WOOT! And the day before I borrowed the last 15G for my journeyman riding skill (150 skill cost 480G) and now I can afford a Epic mount or i'm half way to the flying mount skill price at only lvl 67. Glory to the Horde!

Just bought this enchant off the AH, 225 buyout, seemed reasonable considering the rarity. But i'm pretty disappointed at the cost of the materials - compared to the cost of doing the +5 version, this one is just insanely expensive. Considering the materials involved, it ought to at least be +10 to all resistances. For the extra +2 resist, only people with money to burn are going to choose this...

I offered to take this pattern off someone's hands on Eonar for 20g, and raised my offer to 25g, but he never got back to me, and I'm simply not going to pay some outrageous price for a PoS enchant. So many better things to put on a cloak than this crap. In fact, if I see it offered again, my high bid will be 1g 50s, 1c, 1c over vendor price. That's far more than it's worth, but it'd be nice to have every enchant.

Dropped for me off a Sunfury mob in Shadowmoon Valley. Haven't seen it posted much in Duskwood server - perhaps I'm one of the first to get it. Looks nice, and no level 35 cap on it either.

Is this enchant good for PVP? I don't understand why resists don't play a bigger role in PVP whereas armor plays a big role (essentially playing a similar role against physical dps as resists play against spell dps).

Amazingly, I just found TWO of these while farming for the Formula: Enchant Cloak - Greater Arcane Resistance (which I'm still looking for... frissin' frassin' frissin') drop in Shadowmoon Valley. What are the chances?

When the first one I dropped, I thought "OMG, this has made all these hours of mindless farming worth it!". I promptly learnt it. :D

About half an hour later, when the second one dropped, so did my jaw. That one is definitely going to the AH. :D

After the demoralizingly soul crushing search for Formula: Enchant Cloak - Greater Shadow Resistance, I think I deserve a nice bonus lil like this!
