These things drop almost every other kill. It was my first Epic as I had hit 60 and went to ZG almost immediately. There is much better out there but if you want a quick and easy +Healing/Damage then go with this.

Although there ARE much better rings out there, if you're an up and coming mage this should definitely be on your wishlist. This thing is a powerhouse and its stats make it viable in both PvP and PvE alike.

we run ZG and occasionally MC when we can get the ppl. this new loot dropped twice for us in ZG a few days ago and i allowed casters only to roll as healers can find better pure +healing rings which in the end help out the raid more. so 2 mages walked off with a new epic ring each (me, lock, didnt roll as i had the ZG caster ring set already). One of our priests then hs'd and left raid because he wanted a roll for it but i wouldnt let him, so he was angry. problem with new epics is that ppl get 'furious epic vision'and think I NEEEEEED THAT, when they actually dont need it, then get angry when they cant roll. since then we have had an epic tanking ring drop and just now epic casting robes dropped off spider boss. but for the sakes of keeping everyone happy i let all casters roll (inc priests) , even though it was only +25 healing/damage and priests could get better. a priest won it so now mages are a little angry that it wasnt their roll first. it sure is hard leading a raid.....but the drops are worth it.
im glad the patch came along as it makes numerous wipes learning how to do ZG bosses worth it. epic count has trebbled in our guild now we can use bijous for solely rep as well.

Got this one last week, for my priest, all casters was allowed to roll on it, rolled a 100 yay :)

Since my guild is only @ luci in mc atm (while we gear up, its a totally new server), this is by far the best item obtainable, yes cautezing is better, but we are no where near MD atm.

Besides this has been dropping on almost every single boss in one run :)

I do agree priest should have pure +healing items, but theres just not that many available if your pre mc, that also has decent stats (i have no use for a ring with +33 healing and no other stats, i need int too).

And no noone got mad or anything, we know it will drop again and again, and besides we are a really friendly guild not one thats epic greedy.

We had two of these drop last night, one each off Venoxis and Jeklik. One to a mage and one to a priest.

I�d like to address the �priests should not roll because they can get better +healing rings�. This is just insane. My guild farms MC weekly, through Domo, and Onyxia as well (Rag, we�re coming for you!). I have yet to see the cauterizing band drop. And even when we do, we�ve got 13-15 healers in the raid that will ALL want it. Do you have any idea how long it would take to get this ring in all healers hands? The point is you can�t stop people from rolling on an item because there is a better item out there somewhere. You have to look at what will benefit your guild and your players TODAY. If you force your healers to stay in blue/green rings waiting for the day you can farm Domo, you�re going to have a long hard road.

Out guild lets any caster roll on +damage/healing items. Based on the other stats attached, we MIGHT limit the classes that can roll. But more often then not, we let our members decide. If you have the DKP, and you want the item, go for it. We have smart players, and they roll on items that will benefit them, and hold off if it�s not a good item for them or significant upgrade. (I say �roll� as we use a roll+DKP system).

My druid wears this ring. It was a great upgrade from my sucky green ring. All casters should be allowed to roll on this.

If you are rolling on this ring for healing purposes then that is retarded.
If you are a healer who is rolling on this ring for pvp/grinding purposes then that is ok (but can harm your raid progression by denying dps gear to casters, that call is up to your raid leaders).

Here is a list of blue rings that are as good or better for healing and can be obtained as early as LBRS.

my guild has started calling this the "Venoxis Ring" because he's droped it for us the past 3 times we've downed him (we're hoping it goes to 4 tonight). for anyone whos wondering its gone to a mage, warlock and shaman.

Im a priest and i got this yesterday off the panther boss. The only caster that wanted it had -dkp so wasnt allowed to bid for it, so i got it. Its a good ring for pvp (im a shadow priest).

I think the ring should definately go to dps casters first though because its pretty bad for healing and there are far better and easier to get rings out there for healing.

I got this ring today on my alt, ZG has become just somthing to take up time while we have nothing else to do, we just roll on anything that we want / like regardless of DKP no matter if its epic. When you raid with only friends you never get stupit arguments like this.

I love how every DPS class thinks and item is specificly for their class alone. There are a million weapon arguements ive heard between hunters and rogues for +agi and the same goes with any dam/healing items for casters. Any item with spirit the priests automaticly say is theirs, anything with stam a lock is like "omg it should be class specific" and anything with dam/healing a mage is like, "ill kill you all if i dont get this" . I hate to tell everyone but this is sooooo a balanced druid ring, as the damage helps when dps and the healing helps when spamming heals on main tank.

Now pick your jaws up off the floor...I dont actually believe this. I think anyone who casts a damn spell has an equal right to this ring and this arguement was spawned by petty selfish little kids who cant share their toys.

Haha, just ran ZG and this dropped.
A druid rolled on it, some mages as well and said this was better for healing with the other blue healing ring which is ofc nonsense cause the bonus gives another +healing.

Caster item, dont give this to healers or I shoot u.

If you are in a PVE guild this should first go to warlocks/mages. Then the rest of the classes. There are much better rings for healers, that are non-epic.(PVEish)

This ring dropped, for about two weeks ago, when I went on my lil lag-computer.
( Other comp. where on use bye my Cousin that made ZG ) Well, I decided of making a PuG raid too ZG. First I got around 7 members very slowly after that I got 13 more In like 10 min.. After summons and buffs we we're ready.. We went too those kamikazebats we wiped twice! Well, that's a real bad start ..
We went backwards against Venoxis cleared a bit .. and we we're read too fight.
First we camed away and he had 3%hp left after wipe.. we camed back after rezz and so .. We slayed Venoxis easily with a living MT.. around 4 people died..
Ring dropped. ( Mage got it. )
Bloodrenched footpads. ( I got em' )
Then a.. yeah .. something epic can't remember..

We camed back slayed bats, Camed too High priestess Jedlik wiped twice at her.
Then we got a "Adrenaline rush" We fighted fighted and hardly fighted.. no misstakes "But" Unlucky at 1% (3,000hp) Mt was alive.
Ellessandra's execute was parried bye High priestess Jedlik.

Our guild Druid wanted this and got it because he has 200 DKP (also because the five creators started off with an extra 150 dkp)
The pug Priest would have won it if he didn't lose the /roll.

This ring can drop up to 5 times in one ZG run, there really is no point in !@#$%ing about who should get it. If you don't agree with the way it's handled in your guild, /gquit. I'm pretty sure half of the people complaining are petty ^&*!@es who don't even do ZG and just look at epics all day on Allakhazam and say "omg, mage/warlock itemz!1!".

While it is true that this ring is better for mages and locks than healers, it *can* got to healers as a pvp/soloing/PvE-dmg item. Just make sure that if its going to them for those reasons and not as a "healing ring". Its a very nice ring though,

I call BS on all of it. Show me a better pre-ZG ring for healers. And don't just go showing +int rings... because you can do that for mages/locks too. Show me better +healing rings.

Priests and healers go for +healing gear for the same reason that dps classes go for +damage gear. You do more bang-for-your-buck with your mana. They can combine that with mana regen for great effect.

Priests get the rub here from you people that think that they should sit down, shut up and heal. They have every right to play their class to the best of their abilities and to gear them as best they can. This ring is almost the best +healing ring available from ZG and before. There are 1-2 better (definitely not green) and not every priest will have both of these unique rings.

The damn healers keep you alive to do your +damage so for gods sake give them a fair shake at the +healing gear.

And I'm not talking about PVP or Shadow spec or damage. I'm talking about the best gear for a healing, raiding, PvE priest.

So I challenge every one of you I quoted to go out and find more than 1 or 2 +healing rings available before this ring. And as you do... and start to get frustrated trying to find one... keep in mind that every day healers are out there trying to do this for REAL with their toons and having to run up against bone-headed misconceptions from people that they should pass on the best gear available to them because they are healers and no other reason.

This is a fantastic ring. Grats for those of you (healers and dps) that get it.

Healers benefit more from +healing items because there's more +healing on those items. That really isn't so hard to understand, people.

Therefore, if it says +dmg/healing, it goes to a dmg caster, not a healer. Healers can't have a monopoly on every caster ring just because it adds a minimal amount of healing, while there are rings specifically made for healing with a much greater bonus because it only adds to healing.

Don't even get me started on balance druids and shadow mages in raids..

Can anyone give me some advice on which ring would benefit me most as warlock:

I have both this ring and Zanzil's seal

Both are pretty neat items... but somehow Zanzil's seal seems more appealing with the slightly highter stats on stam + int and the +1% crit chance...

On the other hand the higher dmg + healing would benefit me more in overall dmg for the entire raid...

Any (useful) advice would be very welcome

I still can't believe my guild let me roll on this item. I really appreciate that everyone is allowed the spec that they want for themselves, and not forced into healing or tanking roles, that druids are allowed feral (or in my case, balance) and warriors can stay fury if they want. I might have to respec once we get beyond zg/aq-20, but...

I'm actually still 59 and a balance druid. My guild had been taking me on runs because they were short on healers, since 58 and I do a pretty good job offhealing even in high 50 blues, so I don't feel like I'm taking up a spot. However, what I really want is to learn how to do dps in a raid and add my Moonkin aura to mages. I feel that this ring and some more gear like it will really help me justify it.

We found this on the bat boss. I would feel a little guilty if we didn't run this instance like every other night. But I intend to be able to use all of the stats on this item for different parts of raids.

Iam a priest and I think this has DPS caster priority, why?
Becouse the drops that drop in the raid should FIRST be given to the class that benefits the most from to ASSIST the raid.

First you need to make your raid better to conquer higher bosses after that comes the individual aspect of the game in therms of grinding pvping etc, but you need to make your raid stronger before you do that.

But today I got this ring becouse noone needed it, nice for those days in AV and grinding :-).
