It seems this potions is just for simple levelling alchemy. It has no use and very easy to create.

This could be of use for a flag carrier in WSG. Those pesky hunters are always tracking flag carriers and it makes hiding almost impossible. With this baby, you won't have to worry about them anymore.

But yeah, it's not that useful.

Its useful to use when levelling up/questing or grinding out in the world. Pop one of these and you can hide from hunters and druids ;)

Though it's classified as an elixir, it doesn't take up the Guardian or Battle elixir slot. This lets you use it in conjunction with either a guardian/battle combination or a flask.

have been gankin hunters and rogues with this..
works pretty well.. although i ve never been a hunter, but.. they can never mark me or anything...... it.. seems... lol

Hunters have the track humanoid ability and this prevents the hunter from seeing you on their minimap. Great for PvP

Only thing I can see so far for this is for PvP, so the aforementioned classes cannot track you.

imagine a rogue goes stealth and tries to sneak up on a hunter, also there is a potion or something that shows humanoids for 1 hour, not the same but you'll see the rogue before stealth, hunter puts on track hidden and zomg there you are and here comes the pet along with a volley of arrows

pop this and no one can see you even when stealthed, at least until it's to late.

IMO, this is only a grind-potion for levelling your alchemy, with limitted usefulness in actual gameplay. Having said that, I play a hunter on PVP server and I when I grind I like to track humanoids so I see them before they see me. With this potion, this would be neutralized.

Will this prevent a hunter from marking you? If not, will it at least stop the mark from revealing you on the hunter's minimap?

The hunter's mark will still go on you but you won't show up on his minimap like you would without it.

Speaking as a hunter, and an alchemist, I find this potion useful for BGs only. There are several good sniping locations in the various BGs and it's always a bummer to get to one, set yourself, only to have an opposing hunter zero right in on your location before you can start popping ppl. Drink this and sit on the top of the Gold Mine in AB, and you're killing flag ninjas all day.

Well I speak as a hunter and an alchemist when I say ASPECT OF THE BEAST! There is no reason a hunter should use this elixir, yes I know you cant use aspect of the hawk while using beast, but come on it's a BG your going to die often. There is no reason to waste money on making these when there are better uses for ragveil now.

1) Elixir of Major Fortitude
2) Mad Alchemist's Potion
3) Shrouding Potion
4) Sneaking Potion
5) Unstable Mana

But by all means if your a hunter and don't know you have aspect of the beast, go ahead and use a bunch of these up. But they were really only introduced for alchemists to level up their alchemy, and gave ragveil a use. Before a patch a while ago, it really was useless except making a couple of really worthless elixirs.
