Best used in conjunction with deathwish, recklessness, abacus of violent odds, gruul trinket proc, bloodlust, drums of battle, 4000 AP, flurry, impale, and spamming execute at the limit of the universal cooldown, for around 5,000-6,000 damage per second from one player. Thoretically.

Cooldown on this potion is 2 minutes, and shares cooldown with healing/mana potions.

This is a very nice supplement for a hunter - essentially a Rapid-Fire-in-a-bottle :-)

Haven't sold a one of these yet at AH on my server, stinkin' cheap too (2g each) after paying 450g for recipe. Might try hawking them thru trade channel.

Still, haste potion pwns with fury/flurry/deathwish/ dual wield blinkstrike (proc), double mongoose (proc proc) and 5/5 sword specialization (proc proc proc)!! Who said warriors have to be slow.

Definitely makes you ride the lightning, especially when stacked with the other haste boosters (SnD, trinkets etc...).

But keep in mind that if you normally hold yourself slightly under your tank's aggro on the list, this will tilt you up there, with all the consequences it implies. If you're gonna chain haste potion, set yourself a margin of aggro with your tank, and let him know in advance.

Again DPS is a beautiful thing, but make sure you don't cross that line when you pull aggro.

I'm wondering what exactly "Haste rating" affects, is it only melee attack speed? is it ranged? is it casting time?
I'm also wondering what 400 points is in percents.. cause I don't think it's 40% actually..
Anyone able to comfirm anything?

400 haste = +38.05% attack speed (NOT casting speed) at level 70.

At 60: 10 Haste = 1% Attack Speed
At 70: 10.5 Haste = 1% Attack Speed

So technically these give just under 40% attack speed, but they are still great. This is better than any Agility or Strength potion because Haste Scales with your AP and current gear.

at 69 my +20haste counterweight gave me +1.5%speed
so i guess it' s +25-30 % attack speed

This pot or the strenght one work great for tanks on bosses like Gruul the Dragonkiller. Where the longer time passes the more likley of a wipe.
I mean to gain some extra threat incase some players are to close on ktm (as you need top dps but not over tank) or the other way around to low.

This is a wonderful asset to fury warriors and rogues for dps-heavy fights like Gruul. I don't remember numbers (using Aldor exalted sword and Prince Dagger), but with flurry/haste trinket and this potion, all I saw was my warrior standing still, yet my SCT went nuts. A must have.

Stacks with both Flurry, Unleashed Rage, Bloodlust and Berserking (troll racial).

However, it doesshare cooldown with other pots, for example health potions. I've seen other posts stating the opposite, but it does.

In case you havnt already figured this out, this applies only to ranged and melee haste, spells will continue at normal cast time if drank, ranged weapons and melee weapon speed will be increased however.

Pop this, bloodlust (from shaman in group), berserk (troll racial), and improved aspect of the hawk, and your hunter with a 3.00 attack speed will be lighting mobs up with a machine gun!

though all that probably doesn't stack

I paid a small fortune on this and Heroic Potion. However, after pulling them out of the bank and learning these two today, I decided to sell a few. On my first spam, I got a customer order of 10x. Wouldn't you know that when making these discovery after the 7th pot of and as a mage i was praying i would get this some day.

After day 1, this potion has already proven desired and worth the 3 figure price tag i paid.

For those of you who are casters and want a spell haste boost, just grab the quagmirrian eye, off the last boss in heroic Slave Pens. If you have a shaman in the group and/or a hunter nature resist, it's an easy boss to fight. This trinket increases your spell haste rating at the same rate as this potion, but doesn't blow any cooldowns. From what I've gathered it drops your casting time and global cooldown of all cast spells by about 40%, and works great on instance bosses. The only downside is it's a random procc, so say you're fighting curator, and want the Q. Eye to procc while he's evocating, it won't work in that aspect, but it proccs about 1 out of every 7 casts, maybe as much as 10.

Lets just say if you are a troll rogue, you will be having a lot of +haste.

Blade Flurry- 20%
Slice and Dice - 30%
Berserking (Troll Racial) - 10-30% depending on HP
Duel Mongoose - 6%
Abacus of Violent Odds Trinket - 16.5%
Haste Potion- 25.4%
----------------------------------------------

With Berserking at 10% - 107.9% increased attack speed.
With Berserking at 30% - 127.9% increased attack speed.
With full Berserk and a shammy Bloodlust :P - 157.9% increased attack speed. ROFL... (now I am not saying that hitting all these CD's and mongoose procing all at once is very likey...but hey, can't I dream? )

These are a must for brutallus in my opinion... at least they are for most guilds. Maybe there are some guilds who don't need them.

For BC-Classic: This has no effect on spells as it does not provide spell haste rating.

Starting with the WotLK-Classic pre-patch, this potion will affect spells as haste rating and spell haste rating are merged. This potion will then become preferred over Destruction Potion for most level 70 casters.
