This is probably the best transmute (unless you're selling gem / might combines), simply because Earth is all over the place (drops for miners), and water is uncommon (20-25g on my server).

Good reason to get sporregar rep (ridiculously easy grind)

Rep:killbog lords all the way to revered. Bog lord tendrils till friendly, then it's sanguine hibiscus.

And you can only do one transmutue per day: once doing this, you cannot do a primal might or diamond one for a full day.

Seems like very nice transmute to do if you have no mats for a gem or primal might.

This transmute is worth it, primal mights go for 80-90g and selling all the mats would get you 90-100g (on my server at least). And if you just sell the transmute it's a flat 5g, while this thing starts with a 5g primal earth and turns into a 15g+ primal water. I think it's worth it if you don't need primal mights for something =)

This is the best "gettable" transmute for non-specialists at the moment. It's better because the result is of a lower price than the Might or Diamond transmutes, but the gain in value is about the same.

Selling the lower-value item on the auction house means that you'll pay less in listing and auction fees, that's all.

Alchemists specializing in transmutes, however, will want to use the high-end transmutes, as they get free high-value items out of it.

ive transmuted this about 15 times and yet to see more than 1 from it. this doesnt make it wrong but can anyone state that it does work with transmute mastery? im about to respec my alchemy cause this is all i transmute..

Any Alchemist that doesn't grind for this recipe is absolutely nuts... if your server economy is as whacked as Silver Hand's, you can make a 400% or higher profit by purchasing Primal Earth (which sells on silver hand for roughly 5-7g each) and transmuting them into Primal Water (which sells for 23-35g each on silver hand) and selling them.

1 thing to say.... easy money!

my alt, who i dont really use, i bought about 60 primal earths on ( 2g-3g my server)

And primal waters sell for 25g easily. Its like doing 2 dailies. in 60 seconds.

Then, i just mail the gold to my main....

This is probably the only thing sporegar has for most people
(tracking giants... really.... lol)

The only reason to be revered with this faction is this recipe.At least on my servr primal earth costs around 75g per stack so you can turn them into primal water.Finallly you win around 120g(even in 20days is a big matter),(180g from primal water-75gfor primal earth=+105g at least

Finally made a x5 transmute so I guess its really possible.

Currently using this transmute as an attempt to make some good money, transmuting cheap 3g earth primals into 33g Water is good, but im hoping to proc with Transmute mastery and get say 2-5 Primal Waters, which then in turn i will transmute into Primal airs which are even more - 40g odd on my server.

Bit of a gamble hoping it procs but hey if it helps get my epic mount skill then so be it ;) Also if i decide to keep the Primal Air - Fire transmutes i can use it to craft spell cloth items quite easily then proc depending.

So good idea to get as many transmute recipes as possible if your going to try and make primals on demand as to what you currently want

I would say, Doing this transmute is the best for potion/elixir master's, simply cause you spend so little money and you get so "much" back. buy the earth for around 5g, sell the water for around 20g..

while a primal might, mats cost like 90g, and you get 93-95g for it.. Worthless.

(atleast on Silvermoon)

But for Transmute master's, do the expensiver stuff, you can earn so much more on that. =)

Best transmute ever...buy earth for 4-5g...sell water for 20g. Took me about 5-6 hours of grinding the marsh lurkers/dredgers in SW Zanga to go from 1.5k/12k to revered as a human. Was triple boxxing alchs too so I can do 3 per day. For some reason some mobs give 15 rep but others only give 3 rep. No pattern.

Apparently the miners on my server aren't happy with the price of primal earth and have gone on strike. I am now seeing it as high as 12g, but still a large profit margin from this transmute and easily worth grinding rep with Sporregar. It isn't really that bad considering the repeatable quests give you 750 rep per turn in which is much better than the quests from other factions.

Killing mobs u can only get to 11999 / 12000, you need to do one of the repeatable quests to get revered, and don't forget you'll need 25 Glowcaps as well

I just learned by doing an Earth to Water Transmute. I didn't know we'd be able to learn transmutes as well as potions/elixirs after the latest patch :)

Doing this transmute every day is far more profitable than transmuting primal might for people (unless maybe you are a transmute spec alchemist). I buy a primal earth for about 3-4 gold off the AH, and sell the primal water for 16-18 gold, so I profit about 14g, instead of the 6g or so from transmuting primal might for someone. Best transmute there is imo, and at higher level you can solo farm the sanguine hibiscus from Underbog to turn in for easy rep.

I think this is the best transmute. i transmute this every day and make about 15g profit each time i do it. i used to make primal might, but i wasted 10g every time i transmuted it and it never procd. if you want a risk do primal might and if not do earth to water. always money! :D

FYI the typical price for the Primals on Bronzebeard/EU is this:

Primal Might: 80-100g for 1
Primal Fire, Mana, Air, Water: around 20 g a pop
Primal Life: around 15 gold for 1

Now, Primal Earth...

40 GOLD FOR A STACK OF 20. (and almost always in high supply).

Take a wild guess as to why this transmute is important for your wallet.

i come to confess my n00bery before a close friend does.

so i got honored with sporegarr when i was questing in zm. now im 70. so i need some enchants for my warlocks pvp gear and need primal fire. Dont ask me how, but i was under the impression that this was a transmute Earth to fire transmute. so i spent a few solid hours doing the 16 or so runs of Now That We're Friends (Still). this morning i did the last 4 runs and hit revered! I grab the last few glowcaps and head toward the Sporegarr quartermaster. Now, Im familiar with the qm's layout, as i had bought a few items when i was lower, and i had checked it when i began this mess. So, i talk to him and buy the recipe as i notice something about it not saying fire. well i had it anyway, so i water is fine, still worth more than a primal earth. and then i realize-- it requires alchemy 350... im herb-375/ench-338... how the &*!@ did i think it was Earth > Fire AND used by Enchanters! am i #$%^in %^&*!@ed or what?
