These are the best raiding shadow priest robes in the game. There is of course, only one pair of DPS set robes available for priests, and the other off set robes are cluttered with stats such as crit and hit rating, which mean much less to shadow priests in comparison to other casters. These robes are substantially better than the tier 2.5 set for priests, and far and away better than any offset items available previously, or subsequently.

Untill the expansion, these are the best available for the specc.

Easily the new king of robes displacing Jade Inlaid from the +dmg spot and up there with enigma for top dmg (crit and dmg)

Drops off of Maexxna in Naxxramas. That is probably the type of information people come here to find. The same +spell damage arguments, and people's opinion on its appearance, often destroy any hope of useful information about the item appearing here.

Locks/Mages haven't been showing too much interest in them!

Ok I see a lot of "well how do I convince my guild?" questions about rolling on cloth items such as this. Honestly, not much you can do. You can put up a convincing arguement that you cannot help the guild to your greatest potential without proper items, explaining how by being a moonkin you have chosen a path similar to a mage or warlock, and to keep up with them you require the + dmg on cloth gear that most leather pieces just simply do not provide. If you will never be allowed to get cloth gear, there is no point in being in that guild honestly. Its like telling a feral druid that they don't get to have rogue gear for some reason. Or a shadow priest only allowed to roll on healing gear. If you guild doesnt allow it, ditch them. Find someone with logic.

My guild doesn't have dkp but rather used a loot council that decides who deserves gear based upon how much of an upgrade it is and how dependible the player is. So a moonkin who shows up to every raid gets to have picks before a mage who comes twice a month most likely. Atm I have about 400+ dmg and half my gear is blues. Although I have more +dmg than some of our mages, I would very much like to get even more. With expansion up close, I want as much as an advantage as should all of you :) But don't fret.. The non raid instances have some nice dps gear. I mean REALLY nice. I quit @#$%^ing about not running aq20 and 40 when I saw some of the stuff I can get. Just have patience young moonkin!

ehem.. as for the actual item? its yummy now, but expansion items rival it >D

Title says it all, jumped from Robes of the Battleguard to this baby. 530 spell damage not including ZHC. With the latest Shadow Priest Talents I am up there with mages and only the best warlocks.

Mage/Lock = DPS sure, but now so does SP.

as a mage i am very happy to have it, but i could say it's kind of better for a lock since it has more hp then intelect :) but still, it's imba and no one can take it from me

Same model as Chan's Imperial Robes, a blue cloth... -_-
At least Blizz they used one of the better-looking models out there.
