For druids:
12 Stamina *15,140 = 181,68 Health in bear form.
For other classes 12 stamina is only 120 health, so a difference of 61,68 health.

If you happen to get a Star of Elune somewhere, this is bascially the only gem worth cutting it into.

With the rising of pvp and arena, these stones are starting to become pretty rediculously high in price. If you're lucky enough to get a Star of Elune to drop for you, save it to make this gem and toss it in your pvp gear. On a 3-slot item 3 of these gems = a quick 36 stam. Awesome.

It can go into any socket, it only means you need to put it into "blue" sockets in order to trigger the socket bonus (if existant on the piece you're putting it on).

Since most socket bonuses suck, just fill all available sockets with these.

Apparently a lot of people are ignoring socket bonuses now and just loading up the gems that help them most. This is one of the highest demand gems when cut. Typically if Raid tanks have hit their Defense goal they will load up these +12Stams in all other sockets. Also highly demanded with all classes in BG. When the recipe is on AH it typically runs between 300g to 600g on my server. Cut gems run between 70g to 90g. Time will eventually drive the price down but currently still a high demand cut.

I was lucky enough to get this pattern from a very good friend in my guild, who had the pattern drop in Steamvaults.

The going price for the Gem is 45-50g on US-Trollbane, but I have not seen the pattern on the AH on this abandoned server.

U can get 15 stm gem so it isnt the best but nice 2 !

Got like 7 of these and it rocks to pvp/arena !

I was surprised to find a real PvP difference when I put 3 of these beauties into a Warden's Hauberk. Although the chestpiece does not activate it's +4 hitrating bonus because the red gem requirement are not met, at least now I can last when Feared & DOT'd up to come back and finish FTW!

The +Stam is truly wonderful, but I always hate seeing socket bonuses go to waste. Not just because of +4 hit, dodge, crit or whatnot, but because the gems required to reach the socket bonus are a good improvement for your class.

Red gems usually mean you do more damage
Yellow gems mean more hit/crit

Meaning with those gems, Stamina isn't as important when you're dealing more damage. I suppose for PvP they are great, because you can last longer. But I'm not going to shove them in every socket. I like being well-rounded, not just a long lasting target.
