Avoidance tank ring. Probably more for Druid tanks than Warriors. Unless you're already sitting on a mountain of stamina and at 490 defense.

I am a druid feral tank, and getting my dodge over 33% can be a tough slog, and this also adds crit. Definately worth having in arsenal....

Amazingly cheap to make (for a Miner/JC) and disenchant to Large Prismatic Shard. Got rid of a lot of my unwanted inventory for the shards.

On my server Lg prismatic shards tend to go for ~25g so this may be the way to go for me to farm shards for my newly minted enchanter, depending on mat prices of course.

This is a great way to level up jewelcrafting, depending on server economy. On my server the mats per ring work out to about 24g each, and they sell easily for 40-50g.

For a 70 druid, that's roughly 3% dodge from agi & dodge rating. When approaching 50%ish levels of dodge, that's a 6% damage reduction.

Is this a decent tanking ring till i get something better from an instance? The stamina is a downgrade but I like the dodge and agility it adds. I have just hit lvl 70 and I am in the process of getting myself equipped to start tanking the high level instances (solo quested my way to 70 in fury spec btw)and could use a few opinions on this ring. thanx

It's one of the best rings you can make to get to lvl 375 in JC since it only requires 1 eternium ore (witch is probably the hardest component in the ring to aquire). It sells for about 40 g buyout on AH.

The 220g the first guy mentioned might be for the pattern and not the ring.

I believe the pattern is bop so he was saying he paid 220g to buy the ring. Since he is one of the first posts maybe it was a new item to the ah on his server, and that would justify the large amount he paid for it.....i suppose.

Just had one of these made for our guild's drood tank. Very nice stats for him. As a rogue, I'll say its not a very good ring for my class though. =)

The pattern is not BoP, it is BoE and goes between 150-300g, maybe higher depending on your server.
So, the ring can be sold between 20-60g, (higher or lower depending if the seller is desperate or greedy.) it should be NOWHERE near 220g for one ring, that would be the recipe itself.

If you're a miner/jewelcrafter this is a fairly decent way to get large pris shards with all the rubbish you pick up...
Mercurial adamantite is simply made from the Adamantite powder from prospecting adamantite. Primal Earths and Eternium just come as a result of generally mining everything you see.
Then DE the rings using an Alt or guildy. Job done.
