I hate blizzard so $@%!ing much, and this is one of the reasons. Rare world drops for professions. It's so $@%!ing ridiculous that these things have such a low drop rate that you can't even $@%!ing farm for them! And the alternative, of course, is to farm gold for hours on end until you have enough money to buy this from someone that did find it. It's a loose loose situation.

got it as a random drop off one of those green crocodile-like things in shadowmoon valley in the green lava. had no idea what it was worth, so i jokingly put it up on the AH for 300g, 400g buyout to see if anyone would whisper or mail me with reasonable offers (probably woulda accepted like 10g lol). 5 seconds after putting up the auction, it sold out.

i havent seen this up on our AH in 2 weeks, i would pay 400g to buy it for our guild jewelcrater to have it at this point, and I dont buy gold, not rich enough irl sadly

I got it off a Putrifier on my 6th kill. Sold it to one of my JC friends for 50g and he made me 2 of the gems for free since we didn't know the price for it. Gotta love having JC friends :). Dunno if I want to socket them or sell them at the moment.
