The same goes for me. Found it in manatombs. The droprate appears to be a bit higher then 0.1%

This is a world drop, so your chances of ever personally getting the drop are almost zero, and there is nothing you can do about this.

If you want this design badly, you will have to trade for it, or get someone to give it to you as a gift, etc.

edit: Ironically, since posting this comment about 1.5 years ago I've gotten this drop twice while soloing. Of course this is completely random and posting Wowhead comments doesn't increase our chance of getting world drops (if only...), but I thought it was funny so I'm mentioning it. :P

Agreed. Found this, im not a jewelcrafter so i posted it in shat general. I dont think ive ever seen so many /w going my way. Sold in the end for 900g

Looted from some random crystal flayer in Shadowmoon, I hadn't seen it before and there was no other in the AH; sold for 450g, I mostly likely could've made more but didn't think of it. Oh well, not sure why given it's not a great gem compared to the slightly-lesser green gem (Blizz has got to buff the blue gems, geez).

Got it off a rock elemental in Nagrand, sold for 380g.
Now I dont have to worry about money for my flying mount :)

Got mine while farming Sunfuries for the daily attack plans quest. I sold it within a day for 325g on AH. I wish I'd come here first, though. I probably could have sold it for half again as much.

I found this killing Orc in Death Forge in SMV and i almost immediatly went to shat and within 10 seconds of putting an ad into trade channel i got a hit for 600g. probably could have gotten more but i didnt want to wait. This is a sweet drop and should not be sold for less than 550!

Got this off an arakkoa in SMV. Very nearly didn't loot it since I got adds during the kill and had to run for my life.

Thankfully I came back and my quest item and this design dropped!

Note to self: Always, *always* loot. :)
