Botanica on Heroic mode is a lot harder than I had anticipated. The sheer volume of mobs that now hit so much harder makes having 2 healers (or 1 main heal and 1 secondary heal) a virtual necessity to get through in a reasonable amount of time.

But yes, this does drop in heroic. Blizz has said that all the high-end patterns that drop in the 5-man instances (spellstrike/whitemend/battlecast) will also drop from the heroic versions of the same bosses.

Thorngrin The Tender @ The Botanica today, won the roll so im happy :)

After two failed Botanica runs in row where the tank and healer deserted us (not to mention 0 cloth drops on both runs), I run this again and the pattern dropped off Thorngrin. Made me me very happy. Not only that, but I won a greed roll for The Essence Focuser, got a nice new pair of gloves, got a nether from final boss, and picked up quite a few greens as well. If this is what happens after two runs of bad luck, I won't see it as such a bad thing anymore.

omfG got this pattern on my first run to Botanica today.
I feel soooooooooooo much lucky coz i rolled need for it and another priest in my grp and i won hell yeah!

guys, remember that the pattern drop is only seen by tailors. so therefore the 0.2 percent droprate is inaccurate because hardly any of the groups will see the pattern, therefore not recorded here. although the pattern drops more frequently in heroic, it can be found without TOO many runs unless your very unlucky.

ok. so im on my warlock who is a 375 tailor, and mostly in kara epics, with my shoulders from gruuls. i know theres not going to be much for me in bot, but an unguilded hunter was begging me to go so he could get some gear or other. so i go. worst group ever. the tank is in all greens, the hunter is the worst i've ever heard of, and hes MM so on top of it he has less survivability, and the mage is frost and has less dps then the hunter. so long story short im leading the dps charts with 42% of the total damage done, and the hunter and mage are about even at 22% each. and the tank couldnt hold aggro, im destro and even when i wasnt critting i was pulling aggro. but we made it through to the third boss. im litterally carrying the group. the priest and tank d/c at the pulls before the boss and i solo 3 of the leets while the hunter and mage struggle with one. (they're demons, i banished one, enslaved another used it to dps the third, then used it on the banished, then un-enslaved and killed it). did that for 2 pulls. the tank and priest come back, we down the boss and the loot comes up. OMG the pattern dropped. i click need and get D/C. i log on to find out that none other then the hunter is a tailor as well! wow he needed as well....but i got D/C so my roll didnt go through, i try to roll again, i try to pick them up to make me roll, it wont let me. the hunter won the pattern by default. then he slaps me in the face by saying "now i think imma go lvl my tailoring, its at 150 atm."
blizz @#$% up by making it where if you d/c you cant roll, i got *!@#ed
