Despite its greenness, it's a pretty good tanking weapon. Agility and Stamina is a nice combination.

I used this on my first warrior as a tanking weapon for a long time, but I think my second one I'm going to use one of the rewards from this quest: https://www.wowhead.com/tbc/quest=10191

IMO the thrown / bow are better, 7 hit for 2 stam. Personal choice I suppose, but I didn't know about this thrown / bow until recently, figured I would share.

I'm a warrior and as thus I could give a dig rat's patootie about the actual DPS that my ranged weapon does. 12 Stamina, 8 Agility and 14 ATK Power I have been unable to find anything more useful to carry besides hoping for the random '...of the champion' bow/gun/crossbow/thrown weapon to drop. If anyone knows of something that gives better stats for a tank's range slot I'd love to see some links.

I got the Coilfang Needler and got this gun as quest reward. This gun does slighty more damage then my xbow, but I realy don't like the looks of this gun so I'll stick to my xbow.
So if you want the Coilfang Needler and it doesn't drop from the boss. Do the q Gava'xi.
