This is one of the better trinkets for a Resto Shaman to use before dropping a HS totem. Put this and Essence of the Martyr into a macro ahead of your HS totem. You'll be pleased by how much it ticks for. Eye of the Dead is better, but no one raids Naxx now (and not 100% sure that the Eye applies to totems). Maybe that will change with WotLK.

For a <tol> resto druid this is imo the 2nd best trinket in the game behind the https://www.wowhead.com/tbc/item=29376. The ribbon of Sacrafice doesn't doesnt work with hot's or it would top it. Most resto druids never run out of mana so the only benefit you could get out of a trinket is to boost your +healing or effective healing.

Works great till you get Lower City Prayerbook, which is better, and you can have 2 of them (just found that out...). Still I hang onto it cuz it's on a different cooldown from the prayerbook. Tho these days I end up using Bangle of Endless Blessings more, cuz sometimes just need that extra mana rather than extra +healing. Even so, this is definitely a useful trinket, may go back to it some day, it resides in my bank till then.

last time I tested this (last week) it did NOT stack with my Zandalarian Hero Charm which means I was able to use both at the same time. However I don't know if its still possible.

IMO put one of these with the Lower City PrayerBook.

You lose passive 17+heal which isn't much but pop it with Nature's Swiftness when you really need to pump out the healing and you get an extra 213+heal for 20 seconds for one chain casting on heals which is very nice, one thing about the books is you can't "use" them together either for the stacking mana saving.
