This pattern just seems to be something to spam your skill up with. Other than that I don't think it has any real use.

It is yellow from the very beginning (skill 300), and already goes green in 305, and then grey in 310.

So this will not spam your skill a bit. It is just an item made for fun.

It reduces Durability loss by 20%, great for raids.

You can have regular enchant + this -20% durabiility loss. Very good for purple wearing raiders, especially tank types.

i have 2 of my raiding feet so i use tese for trash (tk) and my boots with mana regen for bosses :)

A friend told me you get a speed buff for 20 minutes, don't know if it stacks with anything though

No practical use (although there may be a slight reduction in durability loss - nothing worth the price).
The only use is for grinding up your LW cheap. Blizzard release fun items all the time and spells that dont do anything that get the 'WoW geeks' freaked out and annoyed. This is one of these items.
