Nice, i use it with Mark of Conquest (https://www.wowhead.com/tbc/item=27921) very easy to get.

You can buy it with Mark of Honor Hold you need 30 of them, and then you can turn those in at Alliance Field Scout in Zangarmarsh 64.5,46.5 .

And how to get Mark of Conquest you need to go to Hellfire Peninsula and do the quest Hellfire Fortifications (https://www.wowhead.com/tbc/quest=10106) You get 3 makrs to complete thise quest, but you can do it over and over again. quest giver is Warrant Officer Tracy Proudwell at 56.4,62.8.

ANd if i am right, if you kill a horde in the arena/tower points you get 1 to.

Damn thats nice...20% per combat point...so thats a 100% heal if you have 5 points and use a finishing move...

At 5 combo points, you get 100% chance to get healed for 85-110hp (that can crit up to 200).

Now, if you are like me and have 7000hp in cat form, it's more like a place filler than anything else.

Uhh, average solo fight against an equal level mob, you're using a 5-point finishing move once to get a lousy guaranteed 110 point heal?

Maybe you're using two finishing moves to get.. 200 points healed?

Compare it to the other idols that add damage to your attacks and burn the mob down faster and this thing is a piece of junk. This may have been a cute drop from Sunken Temple but for a level 64 item it's just trash.

This actually is far from useless if you have a macro set up to swap it out just before every finisher, then swap back your previous idol.

I want to get this in order to properly try it out, but it seems like this might be better paired with something like Essence Infused Mushroom (http://thottbot.org/?i=57334). Coupled with that as well as Improved LotP, you might get a pretty decent return.

The epic trinket: Card: Heroism>> idol of the claw.

I know, different slot.... but i like my other idol better and i get +150 healing from my HC more often that i kill a mob and also improved leader of the pack adds up to that...

so, yes a nice shard for lvl my enchanting skill.

This thing looks great. Everyone that says it sucks has no idea. It would be pretty easy I imagine to get a macro/mod that switches to this idol before casting ferocious bite and then switches back to another idol.

You guys have no idea what this thing is capable of. I currently have ILotP + Idol + Heroism + Mushroom and never need to stop to rest. I can constantly farm for whatever I want. During 1 average battle, I get this thing to proc 4 times, my card 2 times, and ILotP 3 times. I'm healing on average of 2000 per fight (ILotP ~ 1050 total, Idol ~ 440 total, Heroism ~ 300 total, mushroom 200). Because of this, I have been farming gold for my epic flying mount.

Next time try this thing out before you start ripping on it. Its obvious some of you don't even play a druid or haven't even reached level 64 yet....lol

I don't think the 90 to 100 healing increases per combo point at all. What I believe is as follows:

1 Combo Point: 20% Chance to heal 90 to 110*
2 Combo Point: 40%
3 Combo Point: 60%
4 Combo Point: 80%
5 Combo Point: 100%

If so...this thing is junk

Alas no, just tested it +healing gear doesnt do anything in combination with this idol. /cry

The buff is called "nature's renewal".

well, as of 2.4.0;
Nurturing Instinct increases your healing spells by up to 50/100% of your Agility, and increases healing done to you by 10/20% while in Cat form.

that means its going to heal you for 108 - 120.

not that bad for soloing in kitty form, saves you from having to get out and pop rejuve + lb, wasting mana.

this factor plus imp leader of the pack, which every single feral druid should have, will have you getting some nice free heals while in kitty form.
