depends on spec.. but duo to the speed on the two, and the thing that it does have sockets, then yes.. hatebringer could be a better option, but hatebringer is 63.. and if you want hatebringer to be better, u need to use rare quality gems, not just uncommen gems, and that would cost you to many money.. i would go with this..
And alot of ppl like sword spec over mace spec before 70, so this is still better for grinding i think

As cool as this word looks, it is, unfortunatley, a downgrade from the Hatebringer. The tiny DPS advantage only factors in on consecutive swing number 19, it hits for less, and the stats are largely inferior.

This sword is decent but it should have more DPS then 75 being a blue, the level 66 green you can buy from halaa for 15g is 80 dps. =|

So far, every level tier increase on gear drop... I've gotten the best war 2handers from them... not to forget nearly every piece of plate. I can't complain. Only thing I need nows the matching shoulders from the black strider...

This is a great weapon for questing as a warrior. Especially great for an Arms/Fury spec'd warrior running instances.
Since I am spec'd protection I go to a 1h and shield in instances and this while I am questing. It makes up in damage what it lacks in overall speed.

Plus it looks so awesome!

2% ccrit okay this baby got it but mind it a sweet sword nammed blade of misfortune or something like that as 4% (+45 in crit rating)

btw this one is 75dps and the other one is 68dps

but nice to see a matching sword (thruly) is dropping randomly outside instances

this sword does't have 2,5 % crit chance. it's less than 2%. with level 60 you need 14 points in crit-rating for 1% crit. i'm level 65 and meanwhile i need 17 points crit-rating for 1% crit. it's the same with agility. a warrior needs 20 points agility at level 60, i need 27 now.

so don't even think about getting 40% crit easily as a warrior. it's harder than it looks.

This sword is obviously a new and improved version of the Blade of Misfortune world drop. Mind you, it has only half the crit-rating of BoM but the damage, stamina, and harder hits are worth it. Can't wait to start runs for this thing.

Got this off Tavarok on my first run through because I was the only person in the group that needed, I've ran 4 more runs after that and I haven't seen it drop once again... man, sometimes drops in this game are just plain irritating for other people.

This dropped on my first run through mana tombs, the group was 3 lvl 70s, one lvl 64 hunter and me (64 warrior). And the hunter needed it too and rolled higher! This isnt a hunter weapon!

yeah freakin awesome weap. dont see why you would run mana-tombs 12 times just to get it tho, waste of time. got it first time through. lol forced me to change back to ret(imma pally btw) from prot after being prot for less than 3 hours. looks awesome too.

ive ran mana tombs 12 times in a week and havent even seen it drop but i have seen the staff drop about 6 or 7 times

then replaced it with Arkadian Claymore bout an hour later.
not worth it if level 66 or over.

Umm..sorry to point this out but just because you roll on something that another person rolls on that can also use it doesnt mean that they ninja'd it...it means the roll system "screwed" you over...you might have priority but it is just a game right ? Oh and btw, I was tank on my first run and the shield dropped ...the Arms warrior that I beat out on the roll called me a ninja and wouldnt let me live it down -_-

I got this one on my second run im arms spec but made sure there was no wars or others that would need roll it if it dropped =D Matches my Undead purple spike hair purple mount.

Arms warriors should have first priority on this sword seeing as they would be the only class that could use it to its full potential, hunters should shoot themselves if they rolled on this. Not if they rolled over a warrior, if they rolled on this. If there is no warrior a Paladin who likes 2-handers would probably go for it for soloing, I guess.

this drop my first time in there. i'm a 64 arms warrior and a hunter said that hunter need str.for AP. So he need rolled and won the sword. I hate noob hunters.
