Meet your first blue instance drop bow in BC. A solid 2 DPS upgrade from the Coilfang Needler (https://www.wowhead.com/tbc/item=24381#00Rz), but with stamina and +Crit instead of Agility and Attack Power.

Arguably better than Rhok'Dalar (https://www.wowhead.com/tbc/item=18713). Not sure if Rhok's Attack Power makes up for the DPS difference.

The top end on the Rhok may be superior in terms of PvP burst damage, the 2.9 speed of Rhok will give more time for shot rotation as opposed to the warp bow.

However, it is an increase in raw dps, 17 RAP may not be worth the trade off for 13stamina though.

I love the way this bow looks. Up until around this point, most bows simply look like standard, wooden bows. It kinda brings down the bow-wielding hunter.

Drops from the Prince (last Boss) in Mana Tombs, not a tough fight, just a messy one with lots of adds. The best looking bow so far, that ive seen at this level. The stats aren't bad, I'd rather have 13 agility rather than stamina, but oh well. Good speed, allows for a nice 1:1 rotation plus nice topend allows for large crits. I was the only hunter in my group so I won it hands down, very nice upgrade.

Would you say that this is better than Coilfang Needler for an BM hunter? I'm not sure if I should give up the AP and agility for stam and crit.

This is a decent bow, for those who never got into the raiding scene at level 60 its a good upgrade. As a median between the 60 and 70 bows its decent. Bit lacking in the stats department, but The name... makes it worth getting alone.

A great hunter bow, for a 64 hunter. But a level 66 green bow of the bandit is just as good, if not better.

2 hunters were in my grp and both had the ellek(?) hunting gun. the stam was better than carapice spice xbow so i asked and grp said sure.
:) the exta 40 hp was nice na dcrits are good.

wtf u mean u would pass on this bow are u nuts man? im a 64 hunter and i would definitly need on it if it dropped, but its not worth doing the instance 1000 times for.

dude, no one is going to have ANY of the ranged weapons you listed because the crossbow you get in thrallmar (or honor hold) is better than those weapons anyway, that and, i'd prefer crit over ap anyday, i'd rather have my aimed shot crit for 2000 with crit than have it non crit for 900 twice with the AP, so you should go l2p sir, and re roll alliance

Won the roll on my 64 (at the time) hunter. slapped a decent scope on it and it auto shots for around 350 using aspect of the hawk. Crits go up to about 800 white damage.

This bow is great for either hunters or rogues, but having both a 60+ rogue and hunter, i'd say this is more suitable for hunters, the 2.7 speed is idea for aimed shots/multishots and all that good stuff, it has more DPS than splintermark(but not by much) but a lil never hurt. If i was on my rogue and this dropped, and there was a hunter in my group i'd gladly pass for the hunter.

DUDE, i have legion blunderbuss and its better than this. gunblade is near the same as legion blunderbuss so this is not worth the grinding of mana tombs, just run blood furnace like 2 or 3 times and ull find legion blunderbuss or u can spend 30-40g getting gunblade at the AH whatever u do dont waste ur time getting this because ull have wasted about 2-3 hours in mana tombs or a little under 2 hours if your group doesnt wipe and no ones armor breaks. please hunters and other people who are trying to get this weapon. DONT GET IT! ITS A WASTE OF TIME AND IS A P.O.S.

Dude, this is way better than the gunblade, im a lv 69 and still have this wepon, its faster and does better dps, the gunblade is so slow. asoon as i tried it i vendor'd it. So, yes hunters, try to get this bow.

Listen....anyone who says that a warrior or a rogue should have this bow over a hunter is ever a ninja or has a mental handicap...

Its fast, Has a crit chance which i prefer over attack power and the DPS is much better than any normal quest reward bow...Just keep that in mind.......

So to all hunter, if this drops select need and tell anyone who objects to pull their finger out

That pretty much sums it up, Good luck in getting this bow, it pwns (for hunters only )

How long to get it? Isn't that down to the drop rate lol. I've yet to do Mana-Tombs (Plan to now) and I'm trying to figure out if I should use this to replace the blue gun that drops of the boss in Blood Furnace. What's it called I forgot and I'm too lazy to go check...

btw this bow isnt the best choice for a hunter at 64, coz u can get a far better gun from a quest in nagrand at 64 just get some 70 buddys to come help u out.

Just as i hit 64 i was invited to join for the Mana tombs and ofc this drops ^^ i am a Bm, Ne #$%^&*! and also engineer so i slapped a +10 damage scope on it stright away, had 2 kills with it soo far and just wanted too post this weapon is P.I.M.P !
