I got this mace at level 69, halfway to 70 and I had an Essence Focuser in the bank (https://www.wowhead.com/tbc/item=31304).

The model is absolutely gorgeous! I almost had to wipe a tear from my eye when I vendored it after wielding it for about a day :(

It was the smallest upgrade i have ever done... +1 more to healing... lose 3 stam... gain 2 int. But its cool looking.

I obtained this item from Captain Skarloc in normal mode. Dropped a lot of times, good drop rate.

This dropped for me a couple of nights ago. It's a really awesome healing mace (especially with a +55 heal enchant) for my Pally and is a fairly major upgrade for me from the Preserver's Cudgel I've been using up to now.

Before anyone asks though, no, I didn't ninja it from a priest/druid (was a guild run anyway), as I was the main healer for the run:

Feral Druid (bear tank)
2 Pallies (the other was ret specced, I'm holy)
Mage
Warlock

nah dunraven is too lazy to do the instance, why he say it ;) maybe hes the lazy one :P but u gotta do it anyways to get to karazhan :S

Have both this and Essence Focuser on my 70 holy/prot pally, I use this one for PvP healing for the extra stamina and intellect, and the Essence Focuser in instances for the extra +healing and MP5. I have a Crystal Pulse Shield with a stamina enchant too, and with this one I have ~970 +healing and with Essence Focuser ~1030 +healing.

With a near 50% drop chance, just do maybe 1-3 Old Hillsbrad runs, and get this hammer. Save the Ring of Blood for when you're 70 since it's a crazy 125+g made from this, good for your flying mount if you're low on money.

The 48% droprate is a load of Hooey.

Ive run this 13 times now, and guess what... no mace.

I might have the worst luck, or more probable, Thottbot is completely off on the drop %.

I checked out ....another.... site and it completely disagreed with Thottbot's droprate.(They put it at 15.4% which in my experience is WAY more accuratethan thott's 46.8%)

I'll never trust Thott's droprate again. Especially as both sites had the same amount of drops (well close anyway Thott- 3524 kills : other site-4148 kills)

Maybe the droprate changed.... ?

My pally is holy specced and with this mace he has 940 bonus healing at lv 67!

I *LOVE* the model on this weapon - shame it was wasted on a blue that is quickly replaced by rep rewards/Karazhan.
