I am not sure, but i think you have to do the dungon on Heroic to get this bow. It doesnt make sense to have a lvl 70 required item come from a lvl 64-66 instance with a lvl 66 elite final boss.

That is just my guess but that is the only way it seems possible.

I know that "ranged weapons = hunter" for the most part....but I will have this bow on my warrior. 19 stamina is just too good to pass up....unless a level 70 green "...of the champion" bow is better statwise.

guessing this bow is going to be buffed next patch, as they are supposedly buffing "all heroic instance drops" next content patch (2.1.0), so if you have one, hold onto it.

Is that screenshot correct, because that looks like the skin for Valanos' Longbow. I haven't see one of these yet tho.

Picked this up today on my 8th try of Pandemonius. i had to get the healer and mage to call in some epicd out people
Anyways, hes easy with the right tanking and DPS Healing needs to be 500%

I know that was an extremely annoying read bout it proves a point. You have your items, we have ours. Yes, I admit. This bow isn't that amazing, but if it's a need it's a need. Simple rules of morality.

Of course all this is set aside to the fact that who the hell pugs heroics?

this bow is ish. let the warrior have it, go get your wrathtide longbow or your sunfury bow of the pheonix. Both are really ez to get. Heroic SV, a joke. Kharazhan, the new ZG.

I'm a 70 Warrior and if I saw this drop I'd want it badly. BUT if there's a Hunter in the group, he gets priority over it hands down. It's the main weapon of the Hunter, he'll get more use out of it in a single hour than I could using it for a whole year.

There are alot of better hunter bows out there. This is one of the highest stam weapons for a warrior to tank with. Think of it this way, say a sonic spear drops and its a upgrade for a warrior and a hunter. It's a 2h pole arm thats 3.5 speed and is great for a warrior, but it has hunter stats. Chances are the warrior will soon replace the pole arm with a higher dps weapon while the hunter will probably use it for a long(er) time just because of the stats.

Both the bow and the pole arm are good for both classes, and I'm not gonna get into class priority, just some food for thought. :D

valanos' longbow, and has the same dps, dmg range and speed, just different stats. starbolt is the pvp statted bow, stam and crit vs int ap and less crit.

I'd recommend it to any Hunter/Rogue/DPS War getting started in End Game PvP.
