Is this drop available to all kills of Talon King Ikiss, or only on his loot table while in heroic mode?

This just dropped off of Exarch Maladaar in heroic mode for our group, so I think it's pretty safe to say they probably ended up moving it.

It actually drops off of Exarch Maladaar's Avatar that he summons at 25%. It actually seems a little week for that, considering it's level 68 requirement in a heroic. There are a lot of equivalent or better items more obtainable.

Surprised I don't see more pallies tanking with this. It's pretty comparable to https://www.wowhead.com/tbc/item=29185 (the Continuum Blade). No Spell Hit, but a touch more damage/healing if you're already hit capped.

because https://www.wowhead.com/tbc/item=29185 (the Continuum Blade) has more stamina than this.. i would take more hp than a few more +spell damage if heading in to a instance to tank. other methods can be used to up +spell damage perm chants and temp chants.

Shadowpriests and druids got some new competition with paladins on these items, not much tho. But 1H weapons with spelldmg is far better for Protection-pallies than high dps and stats 1H's. If they want to keep aggro, that is.

It kinda sucks that noone really knows where this mace drops...

Ive been to Sethekk halls 9 times now to get that imba pally mace, and it still hasnt dropped...
Which sucks big time cause arena is coming up and i need a nice amount of spelldmg on my main hand.

So if someone knows where this mace drops, meaning normal or heroic, plz reply to my post or contact me in-game on:

Unfortunately, this doesn't appear to have dropped since Beta. Wowhead has it as .2% drop rate from Talon King Ikiss, which probably means it was removed, at least in it's current form. Perhaps it was bumped to level 70 and thrown in on the Heroic mode, but there's no telling until it drops again. Too bad, it was a really nice :(

Er... don't forget priests and druids.

This is a caster mace, meaning anyone who casts spells and can use maces have first priority over this: Paladins, Shamans, Priests, Druids.

i got this wonderful hammer off the AVATAR the last boss summons in heroic Auchanai Crypts. i am a shadow priest and had a hard time finding a good DPS 1hander, i very much enjoy this item.

Protadin weapon for sure.....under 2.0 speed and good spell dmg for seal / conc dmg

I think Elemental Shammys and Shadow Priest should have this, if they dont need it it could be nice for Paladins or Resto Shammys

Where in the hell does this mace drop? on my UI it says Sethekk Halls but everyone in gameis tellin me NO! Someone that has it please tell me where it drops

Seems more holy-paladins than anything. Speed is a little too fast for use with reckoning, and it doesn't have a whole lot of stamina on it. The large int pool is nice.

Holy paladin/priest/druid/elem shammy, in no particular order of importance.

well i have a Holy paladin, feral druid and elemental shaman. I'd sooner give this to my shaman by far. Mainly because my shaman (even tho not as geared as my paladin) would do more damage with it. Not that a feral druid would want this as theres better staves, but i cant see why a balance druid would go for this for pretty much the same reasoning. As for my Paladin, generally i would consider this for soloing but seeing as my DPS aint something to write home to mom n dad about, i'd sooner let a proper DPS specced player take it if there was one in the group as i got https://www.wowhead.com/tbc/item=28800/hammer-of-the-naaru for soloing anyway. But otherwise, its best suited for Priest/paladin/shaman/Druid, even healing specced classes for when they grind solo maybe...

imo it's more a paly weapon than anything else since paladins can't use daggers and there aren't all that many maces with good + damage

another thing, palys can't ues dagers or staffs but if you put a dagger on the end of a staff they can. Can anyone explain that?

ok i would give this to a Prot paladin, or a elemental shaman, they benefit the msot from it. paladins need spell damage when tanking, its what they use, so spell damage > physical damage. elemental shamans normally go spell damage and they need a 1H liek this cause they use a shield, which makes them mroe durable. after them shadow preist should get this, its a great DPS weapon for them but there are daggers out there which pallies and shamans dont use. holy paladins should get plus healing amces, they are MUCH better then plus damage and healing. and Ret paladins should see a 2H, they have no business with a 1H and mace.

This mace would be for a paladin, priest or balance druid. A Elementals shaman would want crit on his weapon, and this has no crit at all.

But anyway. I really dont care, because my balance druid got this last night off the Avatar of the Martyred, together with the Exarch's Diamond Band :)

As a shaman i would go for Runesong Dagger.. the critt makes it better for shamans... critts = 1 free spell and the difrenc in + spell damage is not to big either.. and its a littel easier to get, dropp rate is way better. Sry for bad english :q
