Just to clarify, you do not need any quest (or have completed any prior) to get this key. Worth even just one run before hitting honored with Lower City, in my opinion. At least that way you're getting reputation even if the key's the only thing you're after.

This key isnt like the stratholme ones, everyone in the group can loot it.

If you don't have this key, just fly high close to the door and dismount.. you will die, just run from the grave, through the door and res. If you are worried about your 10% durability loss then take off your clothes and die naked.

i was unable to loot the key with level 65.

ps: died on kill, but was able to loot questitem and spirit shard.

A hunter can open this door using Eagle Eye. Stand at the left side and pull the lever on the inside.

This Hunter tricked worked great, did it today with no problems.

Tried the hunter trick, did not work, but the fall and die trick did. Thanks for the tip!

The die and run in trick DOES NOT work anymore! If you don't have the key, you cannot res inside Shadow Lab. The box "You must enter the portal to recover your corpse" does not come up.

yes it can be picked. dont remember the lvl req. though

my lockpicking is at 345 and I cannot pick it, so it must require 350 if it can be picked.

FYI, this key does NOT drop off the the boss, his chest behind where he stands before fight starts has it in there so be sure teo loot the chest and the boss. I about died when I didnt get key for a moment...
