Very nice little item. Easy to get (don't even need to do a full instance run for it, just first boss) and pretty damn handy. 20 a day doesn't sound like much, but it works fine for a feral druid. Saves money on bandages, and you don't have to go around and beg a mage for water and food every time you log on.

very nifty since it takes an invintory slot and not an equipment slot. nice to have when you find yourself in an instance and you've already burned through your food and/or water and dont have a mage handy to give you more.

Jep, I love it. On grinding sessions, when I hit the half of my Hitpoints and Mana, I can just eat/drink one of these and go on. With 1-2 hours of grinding per day I don't need to buy any food drink anymore *happy*

Even at level 70 I still find this to be a very useful item; but ultimately it is the *best* for when you are leveling from 60-70, so I'd recommend getting it as early as you can! (As said above, rogues and druids can solo the quest for it in Underbog as soon as they get it!) 20 free food and drink every day is awesome when you're grinding levels, and it's great for PVP too. If you're around half health and/or mana you won't feel guilty chowing down on an underspore pod in BGs because you can always make more of them and they don't cost anything. Of course, if you have a mage friend around all the time to conjure you up never-ending food and water (or if you are a mage!) you may not see the point. :)

I think you also have to be atleast friendly with sporegar to get it. Im not 100% Sure about it.

Even a warrior or rogue should keep this forever, free food when grinding is nice. And sometimes the bestest food is overkill, using this you can just 'top off the tanks' when you're halfway down.

For hunters it's simply the cat's ass, hands down.

Unless I'm missing something this item is pretty much worthless as you can purchase better food and drink. Is it used for something else? I went to destroy it and it brought up the "Type in DELETE to destroy" box, so I'm wondering if it's important at all.

TBC Classic, it looks like the item can't be vendored or disenchanted (while great for other classes, it's useless for a mage).
