I'm gonna go out on a limb and say this is the best PvP blue 2 hander in the game. The sockets really put it over all the others.

Too bad it's still a far cry from any of the tier 1 smithing epics or other epic 2 handers.

Ha, true. The design for it looks more like a polearm than an axe. Very nice weapon, all around.

3x Rodrigo's gems (+8 str) is a good idea for this one.

yeah great axe for pvp, but bad thing is IMO if u are good geared for heroic durnholde this axe is kinda useless to u, couse u probably have something better. :/

When you say that you have better gear, you mean that that person may have fantastic PvE gear. But this weapon is of course by all standards a PvP weapon. Now yes I know most if not almost all warriors are blacksmithing but my example is my friend. He is a warrior and he does not have the weapon. He goes through Kara and is getting geared fairly well yes, but the thing is, his weapon is in only small ways made for PvP. He has been through heroic Durnholde many times and still hasn't had this drop. This would be a great weapon for those melee that don't quite have their blacksmithing maxed out and it will still allow them to do great damage.

Remember folks, not everyone in the game has enough money to get what they want.

Good axe, about as nice as lvl 70 r14 weapons.

this drops off epoch hunter in Old Hillsbrad, last boss, low ass drop rate though

this would appear 2 be a decent axe for a beast spec hunter in pvp, at least until you upgrade to an arena weapon.

People always complain about the difficulty of getting items. They say how you can easily get gorehowl or whatever. But kara is a raid and you have to wait for the day that your guild does kara and hope it drops. But A good player will go out during the week before the raid and get the best gear they can so that their guild can progress. learn to play guys.
