There is no better ring even in kharazan and you can collect the 50 Spirit Shards within one day at Level 70.

If you run it 6 times, you'll have 48 shards right there.

With a good Shadow Labs group, that instance can be done in <1 hour. A single 4 hour grind will net you 32 shards for very little effort at 70, where this ring is still useful.

From the exalted ring you get from kara you only gain crit and loose AP, so there is a better one... for pve i guess.
my other ring i use ravenclaw band from SH right now, if were to switch to this i would only really gain 90hp and only a very minimal amount of crit and i would lose 15ap .2%hit and 1% dodge.

Well What i have done is as a rogue/druid you can stealth last boss in Sethek farm his shards. takes about 1.2 hours for 10 shards.

thats 6 hour and you have 50 shards. ( 2 druids and a rogue )

I have been organizing stealth runs in Sethekk. Druid tank, druid heal (resto not required), 3 others (rogue or druid).

My best group had Sethekk down to 9 minutes in and out. 2 bosses dead and 4 shards. Also the loot isnt shabby. Good healing gear and Rogue Shoulders drop also.

I got 70 shards in under 5 hours played over a 2 day span. I kept running till I got my shoulders. I guess I can get the meta gem or something.

Conquerer's Band is nowhere near as good as Band of the Exorcist anyway, be it PvP or PvE. It's worth the shards concidering the effort taken isn't that great.

The Band of the Exorcist is pretty good, but it is not too great. Level 70 green rings that are "of the Solider" are nearly the same quality, just lacking the resilience and hit rating.

So, it is mainly good for rogues, fury warriors, and dual weilding shamans, IMO, since the hit rating is nice. I would not go out of my way to get the ring unless I were one of the three classes above.

I got it for my paladin's ret set, but mostly because I already had like 40 shards from running shadow labs to get the Breastplate of Many Graces for my healing set.

Horde can purchase this from Spirit Sage Gartok in Stonebreaker hold (co-ords 49,46) Terokkar Forest.

Alliance can get it from Spirit Sage Zran in Allerian stronghold (co-ords 56,54) Terokkar Forest.

Please do remember to check if there's any spirit shards available at the time you'll be doing your dungeon. I'm exalted with Lower city and only got 28 shards in my lifetime, due to some bad luck.

So please do check before actually making a group :)

Farm for this, are you kidding me????

This means that you have to kill 50 boss to get this ring?
Actually more, cause theres 20% chance (because theres 5 players in one group)
that YOU will loot this from boss. Thats about 250 bosses if you're really unlucky..
At LEAST 150 bosses. Come on, thats really much, rather farming honor points!
You will get a better ring, and you will get it faster!

If you're just beginning to PvP, you're better off getting the Exorcist helm because you're going to replace this soon enough with this https://www.wowhead.com/tbc/item=33057 because it's better and the helm is only 18 Spirit Shards.

Nope, there is no rep attached to this, so really it is an easy epic if you like running instances, which i do :)

Great ring and very easy to get, all you need to do is instance in terrokar while your faction controls the Bone Wastes.

For a note, This guy has no "Tag" when you scroll over him so you need to kind of look at clothes more then scrolling for him. He is in the first tower you face when entering from the front (Or the Bone wastes enternce.

Spirit Shards only drop if your faction controls the PVP aspect.

Well, u can get this ring in 1 day (max 2- depends how much u want it). It means 50 shards to grind.

How to do this? U will farm 1st boss in Mana Tombs!

1. Grab towers. U need this towers to recive shards after killing boss. If u die durning batlle u'll get no shards.

2. Get a team:
-70lv ppl (fastest way)
-healer 64-70 if u have healer this lv he will let u do this fast (rest team around 70lv). I healed as enchancement shamy and we where cool. Only trouble was when someone attack boss when he VOID.

3. Go in. Kill boss. Don't attack him when he VOID. Go out. Resset. Go in. Repeat...

U can resset instance about 5 times if u fast. If u slow its more, depends how slow u are :P
After few kills u'll see message that u entered instances to many times.

- go AV get some honor, do some quests, take a walk, u have about 1h before u can enter it again. Then form your team again (if u dissbanded) and reapeat all. I get around 25 shards today and it was not so hard.

If your group is solid 70s and don't suck ass, do the Sethekk Halls 1st boss. He drops 2, but does take longer to clear too.

Anyway, got my ring, but I'm still prot, so I won't get a chance to enjoy it til the next Arena... tomorrow, I suppose? =p

The best thing to do for spirit shards is go to Slabs 1st boss over and over and over. He drops two shards and you can d/e his loot for some nice shards. On my 45th shard he dropped a nice Boe epic BS plate plans. All in all if u get a good group you can do runs to him in about 15 mins and less if you have a good group.

The 2 Exorcist rings are the only epics between lvl 61 and 69 :D
