This looks like a superb healing offhand. If combined with Shard of the Virtuous (https://www.wowhead.com/tbc/item=28522), it would make an extremely powerful combination.

The only problem is that I cannot say where it drops. It seems safe to assume from the name that it drops in Karazhan, but based on past experience, items can have one boss's name and actually drop from an entirely different boss. So while it is likely that it drops from Aran in Karazhan, it is still possible that it drops from a different boss in that instance, or from a different boss somewhere else entirely.

That being said, this is an exceptionally good healer offhand, for any druid or priest, regardless of spec (all healing classes do heal at some point or another when raiding). Shamans and Paladins would do better to get a good healer shield.

Its pretty similar in terms of overall stats to Netherwing Spiritualist's Charm (https://www.wowhead.com/tbc/item=31493). The Charm has better regen (15 spirit vs. 2 mp5), and little less int and healing. Personally, I like the stat balance on the Spiritualist's Charm more, as a Priest.

This is definately better than Tear's of Heaven, though.

This item drops off Shade of Aaron. My priest is using it instead of tears of heaven.

Really a quite good off-hand, either pair it with one of the healing maces from Kara or if you PvP, now that S4 is out the https://www.wowhead.com/tbc/item=32964 is another good option.

I have this on my holy priest. It is a very good healing off hand in my opinion much better than the signet of unshakable faith. This wont get replaced until the eye.
