42 hit rating makes this a prime choice for characters without other gear that has +hit rating on it. It almost completely makes up for the 5% miss chance against even skill mobs.
The high top end and large attack power bonus will make this thing hit like a truck, too bad it isn't a little slower. Everyone loves huge numbers.

I just got it, and it's got great stats and all, but the blade is paper thin. I really don't like the looks of it.

I'm a hunter, and that 42 hit solved my +hit issues on my gear just fine. I think I'll put +70 ap on it.

as a prot warrior i was looking for a two hander i could quest with and this seemed to be a good solution. though crystalforged war axe has stamina, i see them wandering my server (bladefist) everywhere, so to have something that hardly anyone else has is a nice bonus. also if your a hunter you should sport this for the +hit and +ap otherwise your a fool.

for whatever reason my posts are being deleted. but like i said before this axe is not hard to get. good for melee and ranged because of the ap and hit. the only problem i see is lack of stamina. crystalforged war axe goes for like 80g and has a ton of stamina and looks cooler. however, i haven't seen anyone else on my server with this axe, so it also makes it unique.

This axe (and the alliance mace) is overlooked since the honor hold/thrallmar have a considerably better weapon that only requires Revered to get, and comes with with more AP and 26 AG (roughly 1% crit), although less Hit.

I suppose it depends if you have lots of crit already and need some hit.

As a hunter if you use this weapon you're 100 hit rating away from the hit cap and all hunters want to hit that to maximize their DPS, this is a very nice axe for a hunter that needs more hit rating.

There seems to be alot of 93-95 dps 2handers in the 3.4-3.6 speed range in TBC. Really isn't anything special, but only requires honored rep so it is pretty good.

I pretty much bought this just because I could. I use it when I run my little buddies through instances. Put a battlemaster enchant on it so it works out ok. But, this isn't a hunter or a warrior weapon. It's a rep weapon. If anyone wants to take the time to grind out rep to exhalted and buy this as a personal award...

Easy weapon to get. I'll carry it until I get a Felsteel crafted or something else. By the time you're finished with the Nagrand quests and you're 70, you should be part way into revered. Took me two days of grinding to reach exalted.

decent weapon. comparable to the lvl 69 boe crystalforged war axe (Crystalforged War Axe the higher white damage might be an advantage to MS warriors

Why would a hunter buy this thing for 47g ? doesnt make any sense Obviously a warrior wep... Hunters walk around with there warrior weps they take like Ashkandi way back before BC its bull they have there weapons now its there problem if they buy this but still this is exactly how it is >.<

The rep is very very easy to grind. At the moment i'm 6000/21000 exalted.You get 10 rep per ogre, and heaps of rep for turnins they drop(obsidian warbeads).

i was grinding this rep for my talbuk... only took me less than 10 hours pretty easy.. this wep is nice i see big Wf crits on my shaman.....defenitly worth griding for

u get 500 rep for 10 obsidian beads. so gaining rep goes pretty fast.

I know I'm gonna get lolled at, but is this worth getting for a hunter? I don't have sonic spear yet so I'm thinking about getting this, it's better than my current wep.

A decent pve hunter weapon. Not very good for pvp though.
Exalted with this faction doesnt take very long compared to most other factions.

I use this on my 70 hunter for many reasons. yes it has no stam or agil but wat its lacks in that it makes up for in greatness. the melee dmg on this is awsome and before u flame yes hunter are ranged fighters but if uve ever played a hunter u know that u hav to melee once and a while when kitein is out of the question. with my build and my gear my melee crits range from 1600-2000 with crits like that how can u not lov it. as for weither this is the best hunter wep? no but good enough to do some heavy dmg.

It lacks crit and stamina which is discouraging. But it's pretty easy to obtain (takes a few days of farming rep if you quested in Nagrand).

Good for players who just hit 70, especially because the huge +hit bonus definitely helps since most people in quest greens don't have any +hit when they first get 70.

Hunter-wise, pretty good, obviously stuff like Sonic Spear, the Thrallmar-rep spear, are better. But they can be hard to come buy and this axe is a good first step.

Alliance has an equivalent weapon to this from their nagrand rep, but it's a little blue hammer that looks like it was made from Fischer Price.

This axe is basically the improved, level 70 version of:

"Huge Thorium Battleaxe"

Looks similiar too.

Has great stats for melee classes (and hunters) and is a good start on hitting 70 early. But it has no stamina! Although you can easily replace that by slapping 6 Heavy Knothide Armor Kits on your armors... Anyone can disagree though; Enchant anything on whatever you want :)

Worst part is, that Hellscream's Will is probably cheaper/easier to get than the darn Huge Thorium Axe.
