These really aren't the best bracers out there, kind of disappointing for an epic item. Check out World's End Bracers https://www.wowhead.com/tbc/item=27522 instead, with the new clearcasting changes I'd say these are better.

It seems many shamans think that spell crit is better for them than mana regen is, simply because of Elemental Focus working off crits, despite the fact that higher crit rates can cause threat issues. Since Shamans are one of the most aggro-intensive classes, it makes less sense to aim for a high crit rate as the way to deal with mana efficiency.

Gear like this, with stam, int, +spell, and MP5, is far better for an elemental shaman looking to be a sustainable DPS but not wanting to be a threat issue than picking up gear with spell crit is. I highly recommend all end-game shamans to aim for gear like this, and let only a few pieces of gear carry spell crit, as between talents and int alone, a shaman can get over 15% to their Lightning spells.

Good farming gear for a resto shaman, as they get much less benefit from crit than elemental shaman and comparatively more from mp5.

Other than that, though, these are very disappointing compared to the World's End Bracers from heroic Blood Furnace.

Why is there so much Shaman loot and none drops after 15 runs of Steamvault? You tell me. I have been running Steamvault day and night and not 1 single Shaman loot dropped.

there may be shaman loot, but most of it is enhancment or healing. I have seen very little elemental loot.
