What's sad is that unless you've hit the +hit cap (which is unlikely if you're a DW warrior or rogue), the Traitor's Noose from the first boss on heroic is better by far.

yes buffed to:
19 Stamina (+3)
Equip: Improves critical strike rating by 30 (+2)
Equip: Increases attack power by 34. (+4)

very nice for arms warriors.

This neck is AWESOME for retribution paladins, hunters and arms warriors who doesn't need much hit rating. It's way more better than the one from Attumen the Huntsman for retribution paladin(s). Go for this one if you are a retribution paladin, arms warrior or hunter.

OK for dagger rogues but it's a shame there's no +hit. For PvE I'd be better off sticking with my old Earthen Mark of Razing but then you get the uneducated fools that see blue and write you off.

This necklace is kinda pathetic. We talking about a 4 stamina increase only when compared to the lvl 60 epic from Kel Thuzad, Stormrage's Amulet of Seething.

I passed on this neck 3 times because the 70 blue item I had was just as good. Then I heard they were upgrading some epics to make them more in-line with what they should have been to start with. So the last time it dropped I rolled and won. Now it looks like this item was overlooked with the patch. Please add another 5 STA and about 10-20 more attack so this item doesn't win the "Suckiest Purple" award! Compare it to a comparable neck piece:

BTW I'm not putting as much value on +crit items now that half the people I fight have 200+ resilience in Arena format. It seems to me that this necklace is the worst of the best by a long shot.

This dropped for me off the last boss in Slavepen's Heroic mode. Id rather have Worgen Claw necklace from Attumen.

4.3% chance to drop means about 1/23... So it should drop within 23 runs, but of course that's no guarantee.

THis neck is soooo sucky... No +hit makes it worthless for pve and +crit isn't that good in pvp either because of resilience. Got this few days ago (3rd run) and it's only nice because it's fun to wear purple!

Got this for my enhancement set. Have yet to see Worgen Claw drop in over 10 runs, so might as well use this till it does. We get fking gloves of dextrous manipulation everytime. I'd go for the choker of vile intent, but just used my badges on nethers for BS/ENG

For rogues, anyway, this is kinda mediocre as far as epix go. Necklace of the Deep, a crafted lv65 blue, is better than this (when socketed properly), and Worgen Claw Necklace/Choker of Vile Intent are quite a bit better than either, for both PvE and (to a lesser extent) PvP.
