It's a fun item to have, on a 2minute cooldown- 1second cast.
Being a warlock with fel armor and improved life tap that give me around 2.5k mana =D

if more then 1 can use it in 2 min cooldown - it's rly good item .. in 5 ppl party it'l restore 3750 HP and MANA every 2 minets if all will use it !!

I just got this today (before the upcomming nerf in patch 2.1.0) and tested it out a little. When you use it you get a debuff saying you get 150 health every 3 seconds for 15 seconds.
That's all well and good, however, when I shift into Tree of Life it ticks for 261 health. I have 446 spirit at this time and 25% of that is about 111. So it turns out that the healing boost from tree of life is appliead to every single tick instead of over the duration of the HoT. This means that in it's current form I'll give all party memebrs in range a buff that will heal them for 1035.
Now I don't know if this will be changed as well with the upcomming patch but it'd be nice if it stays this way.
Very good for Tree druids.

The healing aspect of these benefits from your +healing. On my shaman on the live server the health ticks for about 260, but if i pop both of my trinkets it ticks for 502.

These, like all the other drums except for Drums of Panic, are getting buffed with an increased radius of effect and an instant cast time in patch 2.3.

Might be nice for a non-healer class in case of an emergency group heal... it'd be a bit nicer if it weren't over time, though, or maybe more health.

Lovely for a raiding healer with leatherworking. The other drums aren't really of much use in a healing group, but these restore the equivalent of a super mana potion across the group. If you use them right after your group is hit by aoe, you also get 3000 free healing. Five leatherworkers in a healing group using these every two minutes would result in 125 mp5 for each member, without using up any other cooldowns.

The best part is the price though. With fifty charges, the price per use is neglible compared to most other consumables.

They have the same cooldown as any of the other drums. Haven't noticed yet if they have the same cooldown as anything other than that though.

i'm not sure if its this but i always pull aggro at moroes by healing after using this... i'm a druid
