Anyone know what bags bar the normal ones that motes/primals can fit in. like jewel bags or some such?

This is a great bag, when I go out farming for mats, it holds so much I don't need to stop mining. It's a big help. Yes it does suck that other stuff can't go into it, but nonetheless a nice sack!

this is very depressing, i went to the AH and got that bag about 2-3 days after TBC came out, when i put it in my bag slot it would only let me hold Bars, no ore, no pick, no nothing like that, now it does and i got rid of it thinking it was a P.O.S. mad move on my part.

AFAIK, this is Unique-Equipped. Only one at a time unfortuantely. I only have one, but I've heard a few stories on Kel'T US Server that people have had problems with more than one.

It seems that one in the bank and one on your toon is safe, (being U-E)

I can't understand why mote of earth and primal earth is allowed in there. Technically, stones are replaced by these, post-70.

Sadly you can only have one equipped on either yourself or in the bank, unless you literally have a bag placed in your inventory, as in not equipped.

I got this bag when i was around level 30 with my rogue. I spent nearly 45g on the mats required (found a nice guy who then crafted the bag for me for free) but i must tell, it's a short and a lifetime investment, this bag is truly a gift for miner's, and all who think if it's worth spending so much gold on lower levels, believe me, it's worth it =)

At level 30 you have to be alt to spare 45g on that. Much smarter move for a begginer is creating another alt with 10-14 slotters for same effect.

Unfortunately It can't store gems from mining. This is not good enough.

Reinforced Mining Bag can only hold Primal/ Motes of Air & Fire because you mine them, hence the name Mining Bag. Mining Bag can also hold your Mining Pick.

Fel Iron Toolbox (Engineering Bag/ Box thing) can hold all Primals/Motes (haven't been able to get a Might or Nether to try them, but all others work). Fel Iron Toolbox holds your Archlight Spanner, Gyromatic Micro-Adjuster, and Blacksmith's Hammer.

As for gems, get a Bag of Jewels or just a plain other bag -_-|||

(I, on the other hand, have all 3 for being a Miner/ Engineer)

this bag was unique-equipped before, and i just noticed today that they took off that label. People used to be stuck with only one in your bank and one on you, but it's now multiple alloted in your bank :)

Fantastic bag. as is the 20 slotter. and people only saying it allows only a few items. miners will know a bag will fill up really quickly !! If they were going to allow gems into the bag. it would have to be atleast a 32 or 36 slot bag because all those extra gems would need alot more space. never the less its a fantastic bag ! and worth 40 - 50g !

you can even equip a 28slot and a 20slot mining bags as your bags for 48mining slots ! great if your planning on doing a huge mining run !

Gems can be mined so this should hold Gems as well, but it doesn't.

The Gem bags are very limited to. Generally you just send the green gems to an alt and keep the blue gems with you, needing only 6 slots.

In my opinion there should only be one bag type for mining and gems.

They won't hold: motes, primals, gems etc.

Vendors of the PATTERN are in respectively the horde and alliance settlements in Nagrand.

Yes, it will hold ore, bars, and stone. Won't hold gems or motes.

It will also hold your mining pick, although it won't hold your blacksmith hammer.

Does it hold stones? Like Dense Stone, rough stone. Does it hold the motes that you mine? Mote of earth/fire? Or is it just a big bag to hold ores and bars?

You can put it in the bank to store mats for smithing or holding mats for when you can get the items you want made.

i got 2 in the banks and 1 on me. Wtf are u talking about?
If u have one on you and cant put another in bank just put the one you got on you in bank then close bank window and equip the other one.

In case you're wondering, their is no specific level restriction for the bag. I know that it doesn't say there is one, which usually means it's free to be used by anyone. But it's a 28 slot bag ffs!

Sure enough, my lvl 12 alt has one now. Talk about twink gear!

I have one on my 70 miner plus I have 2 in the bank of my bank mule. I may add one more. I keep stone and ore till the prices are right before I sell so I hold on to a lot of items for weeks sometimes. Just depends on what the AH is bringing that day. Great item for people who like to mine for the resale. I mined my way to a flying mount :)

They added primals/motes of earth/fire and the powder rec'd from prospecting ores in 2.3

Ok i have my bag for some time now and from what i read, motes can't be place in it. Well... just last night when i went around farming Fel, I came by a good number of earth and fire motes. But heres the thing, they all jumped into my mining bag. I also have another in bank and the same thing happens. Also, my blacksmith Hammer jumps in there too. Either Bliz updated the bags or I have a bug, but either way, thats the case im in. But its nothing to complain about (^_^)

You will not have trouble finding someone to do it if you have the mats.

It's been my experience that you CANNOT equip 2 soul bags. I'm wondering, does this bag, and others of its kind (Gem bags, chanting bags, ect) follow the same rule? Or could you have 3 or 4 of these on a bank character? I'm only curious, I don' think I would have much need for 84 or 112 slots to hold nothing but stones, ore, and bars.

In Phase 1 of TBC Classic, this item cannot hold Motes of Earth or Motes of Fire.

This seems like an oversight.

It can hold the Mining Pick, but not the Blacksmith Hammer

As of today, Wednesday the 1st of September 2021, right after a weekly maintenance, the mining bag can now contain the following:

Mote of Earth
Primal Earth
Mote of Fire
Primal Fire
Blacksmith hammer.

Note we are still in Phase 1. Phase 2 is scheduled to launch in 15 days.

Seems like Blizzard fixed the bag a bit before phase 2
