you are never going to sell this for 1000g unless someone really needs it dropped after like 500kills on mana wraiths in Netherstorm sold mine for 700g... people today dunno how hard it is to get epic and get it sold=(

got this on Madoran a week ago had to drop the price 3 times by 50g each and still no one will buy dunno if it is meant to be a good thing or a bad thing having gotten it
started at 850g price

Dropped last night off a trash mob in SH,

We all rolled on it and I won.

I'm going to put this in the Alliance AH first on Vek'Nalish server starting tonight.

I'm told that this has only dropped on our server a couple times before!

Dropped for my mage alt in nagrand off a tabulk. I GAVE it to a guild member so he can make them for the guild if needed.

On my server (dreanor) this paticular helm is maxing out in the AH for 1400g. So it is safe to assume that you can up the price of this since most people dont realize the the second sight helm is about the same, all they see is the purple name and the "amazing" stats.

This pattern is NOT worth 2000g...

A normal higest price for a LW pattern should not go higer than 6-700g...

This hood is pretty good...so a max price of 1000g for the pattern is the highest most LW would ever go....

they added more snakes that drop those scales in nagrand you have to have a flyen mount but still its above the death forge camps

This helm, when you really look at it, actually isn't all that great.

Compare it to the Stealther's Helmet of Second Sight.

The stats on that are:

+24 Agility
+18 Stamina
+13 Hit Rating
+60 Attack Power

Red, Blue, Yellow Socket
+8 AP socket bonus

This helm has 13 more Agi, 24 more Stamina, 5 more Hit rating, no sockets and 14 more AP.

Now if you just added a +8 Agility gem and 2 +12 Stamina gems (I realize you wouldn't get the socket bonus), you'd end up with

+32 Agility (Only 5 less)
+42 Stamina (The Same)
+13 Hit Rating (5 less)
+60 Attack Power (14 less)

So 5 agility, 5 hit rating and 14 AP less after socketing, not to mention you could put anything else you wanted in the Stealther's instead.

Yah, it has superior stats, but it honestly doesn't seem like it's worth farming up all those mats for it when the Stealther's is a quest reward. Not to mention the other one looks like the Grim Reaper's hood and this thing is... a moldy gym sock with a hole in it to look through.

Ummmmm.... it only takes about 6 hours to farm the mats for it (which can be split up over 6 days for an hour each day), so I really don't see the point in all this complaining about it having only a few more stat bonuses over Second Sight helm....

It's those extra little bonuses that raiders get that make them go higher on the DPS and overall damage charts.

oh hell yah im getting me this along with the primal-strike gear great mix deff. taking the see helmet function off cause on a female night elf rogue with all kara and assassination gear it looks gay - very very nice possibly one of the best ive seen besides T4-T6

umm ya jst get Mask of the Deceiver, since this is way expensive to make plus when you socket that u get more hit, agi, and AP from that hood if u socket with the right gems. But this means doin heroics or raiding kara/za. Now if u do kara u can just get netherblade helm or from the badges there u can get MotD in no time.

After farming aldor rep 6 days in a row in Deaths Door in Blades Edge Mountains, a Guildie told me to try Legions Hold in Shadow Moon Valley... So I did, and I was by myself, and it Dropped off a 68 Wrathwalker...

I actually picked this up from a Earth Heart Elemental (the rock guys) in Nagrand on the Elemental Plataeu. Placed it in the AH with bids starting at 750g and a BO of 1250g. May be priced a little high but I went off of Auctioneer to start with so we'll see.
