Getting the runes themselves is not hard, you get at least 1 arcane manuscript thing in each of the Tempest keep instances, and they give 350 rep when returning them to the Blood Elf in Shattrath. He gives you the arcane rune as a reward, making the only hard thing about these getting exalted with the scryers in the first place.

Arcane tomes get turned in on the Scryer's Tier near the grandmaster enchanter.

Inscriptions you bought with these can only be used to your own shoulder items, not like armor kits.

It says it can be used for Scryer Inscriptions... and it's a rune... Perhaps these will be used in the upcoming Lich King patch for either the Death Knights or just be a part of the new inscription profession..?

You can turn in the Arcane Rune to Inscriber Veredas for some Shoulder Enchants.

You should wait to turn them in until after you hit Honored. That way you can use the rep from these to get closer and closer to Exalted. -_-

These are turned in at the back of the scryer's bank in Shattrath.

You turn the Arcane Tomes in to Voren'thal the Seer on Scryer's Tier in the Seer's Library, upper floor. 42,91

You turn the Arcane Runes you get from Voren'thal the Seer in to Inscriber Veredis at the Scryer's Bank. 59,64

all of these runes and inscriptions you can buy are BOP, which leads me to believe that you cannot apply these to trade windows (much like the AD shoulder resist items).

Are these Arcane Runes able to do anything other than enchants?...I'm stacking up more than I need.

There are two levels to the inscriptions. The first required honored, the second requires exalted. Obviously the exalted ones are better, but you can grab the lower one to give yourself a boost until you start landing your tier gear and reach exalted.

I heard some ppl say they didnt know what to do with them, and that they have like 20 of em. When I finaly got exalted I had about 30 of these runes I think. And now I need to get back to farming more tomes because I only have 4 left... I am a shaman however so I do use more of them then most other classes (I have kits for each spec) So my point is, just toss them on the bank you will need them someday.

I have way to many of these things. Blizzard needs to put more stuff to buy them with in a patch or something. seriously.

So after youve used the 2 needed for the lvl 64 piece for shoulders, then you use 8 more when youre 70. 10 runes...what then? If these are the only things (listed) that you can buy with the runes, and say a Spriest uses one kinda, they cant really benefit from attack power or w/e. What the hell are you suppose to do with the rest?

You only going to upgrade your armor once? You do know there is better gear right? Save them all, I'm running into a problem now because im exaulted and don't want to waste the tome's just to get these rune's, but there is not other choice.
