Very nice healing ring for a resto shammy.

This and the ring from Maggie's head q, will be a superb combination for a long-long time.

For priest and druids I shall suggest to look out for other healing rings with spirit, paladins with spell crit on it - leave this beauty to the shamans, hehe. :D

Very Nice upgrade ring, huge int for more spell casting nice MP5 to boot Well worth the time to get this ring. This is one of the highest MP5 rings out there

compared to the exalted VE ring https://www.wowhead.com/tbc/item=29290

In terms of healing output compared to these two its a minor upgrade, i guess it would let you take a different VE ring which is nice, but its lack of stam compared to comparable rings hurts it for general purpose use

Perhaps a more interesting comparison would be comparing this to the easily availible season 3 healing ring, Vindicator's Band of Salvation.

By switching to this ring you get:
-34 Stamina
+4 Intellect
+4 Healing
+4 mana per 5 sec

Whether the big hit in stamina is worth the fairly minor gain in other stats is of course up to you, and nothing prevents you from switching depending on the fight.

With the introduction of Aveena's Touch, there's zero reason for me to keep this ring. You gain:

+27 Stamina
-5 Intellect
+11 Healing
+1 Mana/5 seconds.

I vendored this ring and bought the 2.4 badge ring.

i gotta say the band of sulfurous seems to be a bit better. At 13sta, 23int, 10spi. While on this ring the 8 mana regen and 48 to healing is nice at this point in the game it almost seems cheap.

Has anyone noticed the surprising amount of caster items that are coming out of end game instances, such as The Eye and Black temple, whilst us DPS'ers (70 rogue :PPP) are stuck with only a few items to drool over? it canny be fair!
