This pattern indeed does not bind on pickup. I, too, could see this being a major moneymaker for my guild, once our five or so tailors get them.

We saw our first one last night, on the trash before Hydross. It appears to be a zone-wide drop, or perhaps even wider-scale than that.

From the drop table and the comments posted, it seems to drop from both Tempest Keep: The Eye (https://www.wowhead.com/tbc/zone=3842) and Coilfang Reservoir: Serpentshrine Cavern (https://www.wowhead.com/tbc/zone=3607). The pattern is BoE, the boots are BoP. Effectively, whoever you are giving the pattern to is getting the boots.

It is apparent that it drops from both bosses and trash, in the entirety of both instances.

As a side note, they don't require for any Nether Vortex, only a couple of Primal Nethers.

I saw this recipe on AH on shadowmoon for 1700g buyout...needless to say, way too expensive considering you can't make profit out of it, since the boots are BOP. 500g is even acceptable, but anything over than that is just overpriced.

The Boots represent t5 - qualitiy and the material costs are ridiculously low for sich an item. There are no better pve-boots short of MH or BT.

Getting the recipe is the only remarkable difficulty and that justifies its price.

People please. 1.5k? Thats cheap for the stats.

Look how much damage they have. Lots of int and stam! And almost a full % of crit. And to add, tons of +hit.

this would be a huge boost for a mage. I would pay 2k for it.

Got this pattern today :D Payed 350g for it which i think is a really fair amount of cash for such a good item. Hopefully i'll be able 2 get the belt of blasting aswell in a short period of time
