What would be the next best alternative for Cat DPS and for tanking? I went Scryer without knowing of these shoulders, and have yet to find anything that comes close.

I went Scryer for the Alchemy pot and missed out on THESE?! That is not a fair sacrifice.

Well, I did still get a good belt out of it, but man, I'd much rather those shoulders.

looking to get new shoulders on my shaman. Im wearing Towering Mantle right now, but not sure if i should do the quests for these... any thoughts?

no +hit (hit can be obtained through other items and a little less stamina tho, but we were talking about cat dps"

Please don't use strength gems for any Druid form. Agility gems only please - they produce better dps with the AP and Crit% increase they provide in cat form. As well as providing Dodge and Armor for bear tanks.

I wish I knew that the exact same questlines for Aldors and Scyers would give different quest rewards. I went Scryer only for the firepower alchemy recipe and Seer's Cane, so it's upsetting that I can't get these pauldrons.

These are Aldor only, kind of sucks.

Scryers get Netherfused Pauldrons from the quest Turning Point, good for moonkins, bad for ferals.

Even after the nerf these shoulders are good for druids since they get so much out of raw stats. From the str and agi, you get 100 AP; thats more then a rogue will ever get from a shoulder slot (justified however, since druids weapons dont directly improve their dps).

thee are simply awsome for a feral druid. should give something like 120 attack power in cat form. pity the quest chain for it bugs so often

is this questline available only to Aldor factioned characters? The research I've done seems to indicate that thats the case. That would suck since these are badass for my feral (and scryer) druid.

Yes, these are Aldor only. Scryers get a similar quest and get there are some decent healing/casting shoulders instead.

If you are Horde and Scryer, you could get the Talbuk Hide Spaulders which are almost as good in terms of AP.

I just switched from scryer to aldor but im still neutral with aldor, do i need friendly to get this quest?

These are the best possible shoulders you can get without going into an instance or arena for a feral druid.

The upgrade is Sun-Gilded Shouldercaps from the first boss of Black Morass (which are the best shoulders you can get until T5).

Just to let you resto druids know, Talbuk Hide Spaulders https://www.wowhead.com/tbc/item=29147/talbuk-hide-spaulders are better than these, and all it takes is Mag'har revered.

totals to 100AP (or very very near give or take 1-2AP)

when i saw these shoulders ( and i was scryer) went on AH and bought 500 dreadfang venom sacs, and reroled aldor, should have done some reseaarch before chosing factions, for a druid niether factions is really better if u dont have professions for the patterns, like me

edit: oh yeah talbuk shoulders suck compare to these, u dont need that 15 hit rating but u do need this 21 stm and 10more AP
