The eggs can be found in the remants of the buildings in Sketh'lon Base Camp. I found mine at 44, 58.

44,55 in a lil nest 3 party mems got eggs everytime they respawned

I found my egg here as well, in a nest in what was left of a hut, right next to the path.
I don't know if this is the only spawning place for the drop, but i spent 2 days looking for it, finaly I looked here and boom, the second egg i opened at 44, 55. Dropped it.

The coordinates discussed could be any one of 5 eggs. 44.4 56.6 with cartographer. This appears to be the only place it drops. All other 50 eggs give you a very nasty disease (what, am I EATING it?) that does periodic damage and stun (you puking).

As always Blizzard makes a failed attempt at inserting humor into a quest.Maybe they should try appealing to a crowd a little older than 7 years of age....

I searched through about 30 to get an egg but the debuff doesn't matter since I can just de-shapeshift and it will be gone. I love being a druid!

i can't see the "problem" in this quest? i just walked to an Egg and got it on first.. or did i have 100% luck :P

Just finished the quest for these, its total chance. this entire quest line has horrible drop rates IMO. if u get a friend to help makes it go a hell of alot faster. Debuff makes you puck every so often, i think like 10-15 seconds. for 5 seconds u take about 100dmg every second, and cant move. very annoying quest.

Dwarf find treasure helps. One would not normally think of Rotten Eggs as Treasure.

I opened at least 30 eggs - no dice. The diseases are annoying - the bird gives you an nice parting give of -29 INT and -29 STAM... which I normally wouldnt mind, however I only have 33 INT :(

Yeah, I'm a warrior ... so I logged after a bit, logged back in and after 3 eggs I finally go it.

Also note there is at least one egg that has zero (or maybe 1 pat) mob on it... this was the egg that finally worked for me (its near the road). Although I tried it twice before and nothing but gut rot and puke.

I lost count of how many eggs it took me and a mage to find this thing... the debuff you get from opening one is funny ro begin with but gets REALLY annoying afterwards... probably in the region of 30-40 eggs each before we found one

Ok this was just a theory but how many of you having trouble getting an egg had trouble getting the cipher of damnation from a chest near the naga? it just seemed strange that me and a friend both had trouble getting the chest one, yet got the egg in one try. Also, another friend had the opposite thing happen, he got the egg in like 30 trys and the chest on one. this could alll be coincidence but i thought its worth mentioning.

That only one of the egg objects actually works correctly? I had a horrible time with this quest on one toon, got it on the 3rd egg with another toon from one of the wooden nests near the road.

When you get the sickness, just mount your flying mount and puke from the sky to avoid having to fight anybody while sick.

Took me about 20 eggs but it was worth it to mount your bird and puke while in flight! Great fun! Very annoying quest though.

Rogues can use CoS to remove the debuff.

My egg droped at 44 59.
There was a Dark conclave talonite there and it was in a nest.
If it helps i had the debuff on me atm.

Ive been everywhere in the ruins without finding a single clickable egg...all eggs i see(broken or unbroken) wont allow me to click

where can i find the egg?

It took me about 15 eggs, but this might sound like a crazy idea, but I looted 14 eggs, and before I looted the 15th one I took away all my buffs, just a tip, dono if it works, but worked to me ^^

Took me about thirty eggs. I did NOT have the disease when I opened the one that had it.

Disease has no effect on drop chance.

Just flew Down on my flying mount... saw an egg picked it up and got the egg :P

The eggs are at Eclipse point around 44,64.

I got mine in the 2nd try. Plus, Ice Barrier (frost mage) blocks the damage caused by the egg debuff.

for me it took about 5 eggs to get it but as i was cheeking tb i was in one of the pens or what ever they are and it spawned really fast
